Loving American Truck Simulator... forgot how relaxingly good it is. Don't own my own business yet, only level 2. The highlight of the game (oddly) is the radio. Being able to tune into local radio stations is such a good idea, and now it's in America, they actually speak an understandable language.

Truck long, hard and often Clowny B).  Be sure to post up a shot or two of your rig when you've got it looking how you like :).

Based on what you said Axe I might pick up Hearts of Iron before Stellaris when I can!

Great to hear the Witcher still goes well :D.  Of the two, I'd say Hearts of Iron is in the best shape at the moment - Stellaris gameplay has a few more 'quiet patches' in it (which they're working hard on, there's another patch incoming before they take July off for holidays) - but you'd be unlikely to go wrong with either :)

Awesome stuff Graph B).  I think it's cold and wet in most places (in the east/south-east at least - doubt it's cold and wet in Darwin!), you might get some more quality Mafia time in today :).

Still smashing HoI4 - the more you play, the more you notice little niggles, but the game is still a blast - plan was for this to be my 'go to' game for at least the next six months, and feels it'll do that easily.

Well RIP 'One Shot' trophy in Alien: Isolation. I did the thing where you load 'previous' save if you fail to pause before the game autosaves upon death. (happened twice), and I still didn't get the trophy. So clearly that's wrong even though EVERYWHERE I looked said that it works.

Enjoying Stellaris, it definitely feels a little barebones but in a way that's ok as it's still a Paradox game with a lot in it.

CK2 if anything has become a bit bloated and unfocused with the incredible amount of updates and dlc. I swear CK2 used to run as well as Stellaris does before they expanded into India too.

Yeah, the map being pushed out to India (and a bit in Africa and North Asia) hurt performance a fair bit.  Apparently in the next DLC, they're going to introduce epidemics that help performance by killing off lots of characters - performance management appropriate to CK2, lol!  Glad you're enjoying Stellaris - I'd be playing it if I wasn't playing HoI4 a heap :).  Commiserations on that trophy Aro - you sound like you're managing the frustration very well!

Finished up Trine 3(PC).  It was originally an early access game, anyone wants to know what the caused the backlash against the game, its here to read and here to watch. Short version is that they ran out of money as they were overly ambitious with what they envisioned.

You can feel the change to 3D movement as the gameplay just doesn't feel as refined as what it does in the first 2. The complete removal of the skill tree takes away any sense of character evolution and the characters them selves have much fewer skills as well makes it feel like such a step back. The only positive thing would be the addition of Zoya's tether rope.

The game is short (I finished it in under 5 hours) and the story is greatly unfinished. Bit of story spoilers but the Trine breaks into 4 pieces at the start you keep one and have to find the other 3. The games last level is when you get the first piece, so you can see its probably a 1/3 of the way through.

So its kinda disappointing but I knew all about that before I bought it ages ago so going in my expectations weren't much. I could feel that it could've been as good as the other 2 but running out of budget just hurt too much.

lol! I didn't even think of that with epidemics.

I have Beyond Earth sitting in my library courtesy of Humblebundle but I don't know if I'll ever get around to starting it up now with Stellaris haha.

I've given it a shake, it's definitely decent, but it didn't get its hooks into me like Civ V did, but it was fairly similar to Civ V (still different enough to be its own game, but it's still a turn-based 4X game from the same studio, with the same kind of gameplay loops and the like) so I might have been played out on that kind of game.  I thought some of the criticism it received was a bit harsh, but good to know what you're getting into.

Still playing HoI4 here, still loving it despite a fair bit of polish needed (for example, the Soviet Union ends up at war with the Allies more than it does with the Axis, even in historical mode, which isn't entirely historical!)

Paradoxes changelogs are always so hilarious, I loved this from Stellaris just now.

"Primitives nuking themselves now properly affects pop count "

Picked up Technomancer and I'm really enjoying it. It's by a smaller developer but the UI, visuals, atmosphere, customization options and combat are just all really cohesive. Reminds me of Mass Effect 1. Honestly enjoying it more than a few other big hitters lately. I am partial to the whole Cyberpunk vibe of it all though.

playing metro last light, it's very much more of the same as metro 2033, but that's not at all a bad thing (mind you i'm comparing the 2 as the redux versions, the original 2033 was much more difficult/slower paced).

Been playing a lot of Overwatch and I've come to realise something. A lot of people bang on about W/L % but OW doesn't work like other games when it comes to counting wins. The game actually tracks, not matches won, but objectives won. Which means winning matches is meaningless. You could win a defensive payload match but if the attackers got 2 out of the 3 objectives/checkpoints your W/L actually goes down and the attackers W/L goes up! Or if you win as defense on an Assault map but lost the first point that 1-1 so net 0. It's absurd. What screen you get at the end (Victory/Defeat) means nothing for your W/L. It might as well not exist. That's how I understand it, unless I'm missing something.

Playing Metal Gear Solid 4

I enjoyed it mostly, definitely alot of cut-scenes but didn't mind too much since I knew that going in. Kinda wish I could play MGS1 I did try it but only got up to the Gray Fox fight, the controls where just too old for me get into, so I did at least get to the very first bit of Shadow Moses feel familiar.

Really enjoyed the gameplay that all felt good.

Only things I didn't like were
Spoiler
