ARGH ffs. Avast keeps deleting the exe for Watch Dogs. I made Uplay open into offline mode as the servers are not even close to reliable now don't know if that's why but I'm reeeally wishing I just had a ps4 so it was just a matter of put the disc in and play at this point.

I will say one thing, Ubisoft has the worst AI programming I've seen. What's the point of having a cover based shooting system when all the AI, once they know you're there, just bum rush you? There's no point to cover but if you run out into the open you die even quicker. Spintercell: Blacklist had the same problem.

the AI is pretty ordinary i'll agree.  if you kill someone & they find the body they don't even care lol.  i just hide behind cover with the spec ops 1911 & pick them off with head shots.

The Invasion thing is stupid. The game tells me to search a certain radius for the hacker. Once I lost it highlighted where the hacker had been and they were sitting outside the search radius! WTF is the point of that?!?!

Only played like an hour of this so far and not really impressed. Didn't really help the opening mission was one of those forced stealth 'be seen and start again' crap missions. I thought that shit died already.

Will have to give it more time for a better impression but not really amazed so far

Well started this one the weekend, on PS4.   Its an interesting hybrid of stealth, open-world & story driven but I think Far Cry mixes those a lot better and with more polish.

In terms of enjoyment, it has faded off pretty quick, as others have said, it gets a little boring with the repeated missions types.   I tend to vary those up, esp the convoys, a few IEDs and a grenade launcher make those soo much better :)   Last night I put a bunch of IEDs on the convoy path and then sat back with the launcher, stuff went boom!!

The driving system is pretty crap, and yep the AI isn't too bright either, cash appears next to useless after one buys all the guns.   The character/skill progression is a bit meh, hacking seems to be the best route just for opening up more options for having fun.

So I have mainly stuck to the main story, done ACT I.  Not sure I will get around to doing all the side missions unless I get the flu and need something to do :)

Some of the mini-games are fun for a few minutes, but they really should have put that time and effort into the actual game.

Its not bad Moto, just doesnt stand out from the pack for me.  I prefer the GTA V story, open world and driving, prefer the stealth combat options in Far Cry 3.  The hacking is an interesting but gets a bit same old same old after a while.  Doesnt pack the entertainment punch I was hoping for.

Watch_Dogs delayed until 2014

By I_live_4_fun in Gaming News, on 15 October 2013 - 10:52 PM

Watch Dogs has slipped into 2014. As one of the biggest and most highly anticipated titles this year, it is unfortunate to see that Watch_Dogs from Ubisoft has been pushed out of the current and next-gen consoles November launch window, but hopefully the extra time will allow developers to polish and add the finishing touches the game clearly...
