We've had the nominations - now it's time to vote .  For something different, and acknowledging that there were many great games this year, I've made it multi-choice, so everyone can vote for more than one, and it will be possible for there to be more than one winner.  When you vote, let us know who you voted for and why .

Final Fantasy XIII-2: out of that list I only played Assassin's creed 3 for 30 minutes.
I enjoyed if I didn't I wouldn't have played it through a second time for 1 trophy. While it was short compared to other Final Fantasy's which could be because it lacked any real opportunity/need for grinding and still a lack of pre-rendered scenes.
They added back towns and side missions and it was interesting to see how the timeline intersected with each other, liked seeing the old gang from 13 and look forward the the next one for the concussion.

Bit surprised no-one nominated Far Cry 3 after hearing how good it is. I haven't played it yet so I didn't nominate it lol .

Yeah I agree. I haven't played it either. Also very interested in XCOM and Hitman as well.

no, i just don't put that much time into playing video games (including CoD).  this year i doubt i've played 10 different games.  can't really tell how many on my playfire; https://www.playfire.com/GraphicX

Likewise mate - it's gotta be at least a month since I fired up the PS3. I think I'm going to end up with a huge backlog of games that I'll never get the chance to play.

Max Payne 3 and Boarderland 2 got my votes as they were the only 2 on the list I have played.
Really enjoyed Max Payne and have only played a little of Boarderland 2 as it is something I come back to every now and then with Batty but we have really only scratched the surface so far.
The other ones I have enjoyed this year have been Far Cry 3 however was too early in to nominate this, Res Evil 6 however din't think it was GOTY therefore did not nominate and ME3 (multiplayer).

I think it's got something to do with an 'x' surrounded by the letters 'A' and 'e'... at least that's one hunch subtracted from the hundred possibilities.

Yeah Far Cry 3 should be there but I could only nominate 1 and at the time I hadn't finished FC3 yet.

I voted for AC3, MP3 and XCOM.

Surprised Mass Effect 3 is absent. Despite its abhorrent ending the rest of the game was great.

Aye, was surprised FC3 didn't get a nomination, but we can slot it into the poll if peeps think it wants a run?  Hell, let's do that

Oh, and aye, in the surprise of the millenium I'll own up to voting for BIRDS OF STEEL!  It's the GT5 of WW2 flight games - heaps of planes, custom missions (better custom setups than GT5 does too), sublime handling model, and just the Boomerang Mk I but the Boomerang Mk II as well (Australia's only home-made and built fighter aircraft) .  It's not the game I've played most all year, but when I'm feeling a bit jaded with other games, I can fire it up and always have fun .  Other games I voted for were XCOM (robbed by BIrds, otherwise this would have been my standout GOTY) and Borderlands 2 (a distant third for me but that's only praise for Birds and XCOM - BL2 was an excellent game ).
