Welcome to GoodGame.net.au’s community Game of the Year 2015 Nominations and voting.

2015 has been a big year for gaming with the generation into its second year, high profile, big release games appeared in greater quantity including several very notable titles.

Which makes 2015's race for GOTY a very interesting one.

There are plenty of worthy contenders for the title which poses the question, what will be GoodGame's GOTY 2015? Will it come from one of the big name contenders or could a sleeper hit sweep in and take the prize.

We put it to you to help us decide,

but no rush yet with still a few games yet to release you have a month to think about your choice/s.

Game eligibility:
Released between 15/12/2014 and 15/12/2015 in Australia/New Zealand.

• Eligible: All platforms are eligible (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC OS's, iOS, Android, etc).
  
• Eligible: Localisation ports are allowed provided the game hasn't been made available in a previous year in any form to our region.
  
• Eligible: Stand alone games/DLC not requiring a 'Base' game to run.

• Not eligible: GOTY/Complete editions are not eligible (i.e, re-released games with DLC).
  
• Not eligible: Remakes/HD/Platform Ports unless they are substantially different to their original release (i.e. a graphical update with a few minor tweaks is not different enough).

Game nomination and voting period will run until the 15/12/2015.
You may change your vote at any-time before the close date by editing your previous post or making a new one which will void all your posts prior to it.

You may nominate and vote for up to three (3) games.

Nomination and voting format is as below.
Example:
3 “GameA”
2 “GameB”
1 “GameC”

So “GameA” receives 3 points “GameB” 2 points and “GameC” 1 point.
Optionally you may also give a reason why “GameA” is your GOTY bearing in mind that your reason may be used in the GOTY article for the site.

There will be a Winner and 2 runner ups.

Love your work Spec .  I'll definitely be nominating, but want a little more time to play a couple more games before I day - dag nab my tardiness in playing things!  Expect Tropico 5 to make a showing though .

Hard for me to say this year... I own most of the big games - Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Batman: Arkham Knight, Pillars of Eternity, MGSV. I'd be picking one of those but just haven't played enough of each to make a final decision.

I'd best vote now, in case my memory does what it does best (or doesn't do what it doesn't do best?) and forgets.  Had hoped to play some MGS V by now, but hadn't had a chance, so going on the power of Kojima:

- MGS V: PP
- Witcher 3
- Tropico 5

Main rule for making it into my GOTY list is being an odd-numbered sequel .

Hmm difficult this year.  I spent a lot of time in Destiny & ESO but those dont really count. Played 60%ish of Witcher 3 and still need to finish that off. I have put a few hours into SW Battlefront but it hasnt grabbed me (fun but not serious enough a shooter for me).  So I am going with:

- Fallout 4
- Dying Light
- The Order: 1886

If only I could vote TLoU: Remastered . My top two would be a toss up between Dying Light and Bloodborne. I had a lot more fun replaying Bloodborne though, but I am a bit scared to touch the new DLC expansion after watching my brother playthrough it, hehe.

Third I will give to Rocket League because it's great sense of community and it managed to bring out the competitiveness in everyone I think. I didn't enjoy it all the time but did have some good fun in the community nights we had . I still haven't gone to Diamond City in Fallout 4 yet so I don't think I can call it my GOTY for now.
