Made us of my remaining credit on GMG before it expires and got Metro: Last Light Redux for probably end up being around AU$5.40, brought it down to US$3.73 with my credit, that exchange rate certainly is a killer now. Really the only thing that I want to play that would go cheaper enough to make using the credit worthwhile over a 20%+ coupon.

started playing pixel junk eden last night, iirc that was a PS3 game but i had it gifted to me on steam.  it's a little distraction for me while do the fallout 4 countdown.

Ended up downloading Batman Arkham Knight (mid-week) because I heard that they hadn't really done that much to improve it so I wanted to see what people were still having a cry about. Now - the game still hasn't got full SLI support but they are still working to implement that so basically I was running the game on one 980 as far as I know. I had all settings maxed, playing at 3440 x 1440 resolution and frame rate was probably just above 50 or between 40 and 50 with dips to 28 - 29 minimum. Not exactly terrible, not exactly great either so I might wait until they implement the SLI support for that added boost which should 'hopefully' pull me above 60 at least. Other than that, game looked fantastic, enjoyed driving around and blowing shit up in the bat mobile and of course flying around kicking the shit out of knuckle heads.

Looking awesome - I really need to get back into it... but you need to sink a lot of hours into it. I'm pretty sure the next step is for them to add an FPS module but at least you can land on planets now and drive around.

The steam exploration(Autumn) sale is on now through to the second.

This sale there is something new though, something quite big and that is that all the prices you see now will remain the SAME throughout the sale. Valve has only asked for one price to be set for this sale and from what I've read also for the winter sale. So no more waiting for the dailies or the last day of the sale to buy things. Some games will still be highlighted daily but as you can see their prices will stay the same through to the 2nd.

Of course the winter sale is only a month away so if you aren't going to play it between the now and then it is possible it could go cheaper during it.

Haha, another week or so of having to be disciplined .  Cheers for the news Spec .  Am a big fan of the "stays one price all sale" thing, hopefully it works out for Steam/the sellers as well and things stay that way.  Let's have a look and see what we've got - my highlights (all prices $US, so add 50% or so, depending on where our dollar is bouncing around this week):

The one that jumped out at me is probably Ori and the Blind Forest... although I think I'll still hold off with Fallout 4 and all.

Nothing for me at the moment, hayfever season's knocked me around a bit, so I'm not playing anything faster than Telltale or Strategy games at the moment, but I'll deffo get ED at some stage.  If they do cross-play with PS4, I'll grab it there, if not I'll grab it on PC and be sociable .

Axe - have you had a chance to play Homeworld yet? I ended up getting it on the weekend and just had a little bit of a play with it. Completely forgotten how to play it (I guess it's been a very long time). So good in ultra widescreen... very 'cinematic'.
