Yeah - I thought it was a good movie as well... Straussy (from memory) didn't seem to think so.

Definitely a bit of a head scratcher.

If you know of any others somewhat like that let me know haha.

Watched a couple of ole vampire classics; Interview with a vampire and lost boys.. Back when vampire movies were actually a good watch (Apart from Dracula untold).

Have you seen Timecrimes? It's not in English but can't recommend it enough.

Also - if you're going vampire, what about Let the Right One In (or find the English remake Let Me In), Blade 1 and 2 or one that always gets overshadowed by Lost Boys - Near Dark directed by Kathryn Bigelow.

Gave The Way Back a watch on Netflix during the week, and thought it was pretty reasonable.  Not quite 'omg brilliant', but good with some interesting moments.

Also reckon the first Blade is a great vampire movie - some quality vampire stories in the Supernatural series as well :).

Near Dark is amazing. A bit of a reunion for Aliens cast too.

So that's watchable/good? I haven't seen it yet.

Indeed it is, but you're a picky bugger so you'd probably disagree lol.

I don't think I'm that picky - I love Chronicles of Riddick - and that's not exactly highly rated (29% on Rotten Tomatoes)... that's just to name one movie that most would call a disaster. Can't disagree with you until I've seen it.

BTW - The VVitch (the Witch) is awesome if you haven't seen it. It's not exactly a horror horror though (I wasn't scared once)... it's more drama/suspense, but still very well done.

I actually enjoyed all the Riddick movies haha, not sure why they're rated poorly, not that i use rotten tomatoes as a viable source for movies.
But if you enjoyed it, then probably enjoy dracula.

I like the Riddick movies as well, but then I kind of enjoyed White House Down, and on the strength of that my opinion really shouldn't count!  Watched Non-stop yesterday, not a bad 'standard action' flick - how many has Liam Neeson done, he's everywhere?!

There's definitely nothing wrong with some mindless action but a lot of it these days is shit. I love those Taken movies with Liam in them... just love this scene...

And yeah - was good. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Yeah, White House Down really wasn't very good at all - I was just kind of buggered, and it hit the spot, but it was decidedly C-grade (although with an A-grade budget).  Non-stop wasn't bad.  I haven't actually gotten around to watching the Takens yet, but I'm looking for them :).

Just finished watching Interstellar, was very impressed, some quality sci-fi.  Thought there may have been a potential tiny plot hole at the end, but other than that was all good as far as I could tell.

Spoiler

If you like fighting movies like Bloodsport - watch Undisputed 3. Some good fighting in it and the actual movie is 'okay'.

Haven't seen 1 and 2 btw. Apparently there's a fourth on the way as well.
