Just checked IMDB and the word is yes .  Reckon he was tops in Ip Man 1 and 2 (and I'm sure he'll be good in 3, but haven't seen it yet), great to see him getting some more high-profile parts.

Aye, it wasn't bad, it was just there - I just kinda watched it, and it bumbled along doing it's thing.

Today, I watched Rise of the Silver Surfer.  Actually wasn't as bad as I expected, I'd still say that it was kinda bad  (am crook, wanted something mindless and not challenging, and it did the job just fine).

Yeah - was okay from memory. Mindless doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.

We went saw Tarzan, was actually a pretty good watch.
Grew up with the Brendan Frasier Tarzan, so was nice for them to make a little more darker version lol. Would recommend.

Watched Independence day again.. Sigh, it's a bigger let down than Killzone 3 was lol.

Any newer movies that aren't so popular that are worth watching?

Have you watched Conjuring 2 yet? Not quite as good as the first (but that's probably more to do with the first being so refreshing) but it's still far better than most horror you get these days.

Also Stranger Things - but that's TV... if you like E.T., The Goonies and movies like that, then you should enjoy it. Plenty of easter eggs (from 80s films) as well.

Watched Captain America: Civil War yesterday, thought it was very good - quite impressed by how they're managing to keep all the threads/characters in a coherent storyline, without overwhelming the viewer.  Good action and what-have-you as well, but the pacing, editing and all of that was what really impressed me.  Quite a lot going on, and it all worked.
