I think this site should be dedicated to Kate .  Saw Batman:Dark Knight Rises on the weekend - it wasn't quite as well put-together as The Dark Knight, but it was still easily one of the best movies of the last decade, a lot of fun and a ripping yarn .

Ive already said to the mrs that we will be going to see it for that exact reason, nothing else because I have no doubt it will be shit compared to the original.

I agree, I think Dark Knight was better than Rises, however Rises is still one of the best movies I have ever seen. Dark Knight was just to good.

I think overall the trilogy was up there as a good one for me

Also yeah, nothing on the original, they did it in a different way, can't fault em for that, but damn is Kate smokin as a badass in it.


Considering taking the old man to Gold Class on the weekend to see Expendables 2 for Fathers Day

Just got back from seeing Expendables 2. It is fucking awesome! So many funny parts and non stop action.

Loved it, was a typical boys movie and the sly one liners between Chuck Norris (Even a chuck norris joke!), sly, arnie and bruce made me chuckle

Watched that Adam Sandler movie, Thats My Boy! Surprisingly it had a few funny parts and I didnt completely hate it. Weird I know.

Apparantly Lawless is supposed to be a really decent film.
Not sure yet if I'm going to watch it or not

I just re watched Prometheus and can honestly say, it was a hell of alot better than watching it at the movies!
It's one of those movies you need to watch a couple times to fully understand/appreciate it IMO.

Still a few unanswered questions though, if there is a "Sequel" to it, hopefully it's still Ridley Scott and not passed to James Cameron like Aliens was (though i love the movie), would definitely need to be Ridley style!

And in more recent movies, can't wait for the Evil dead remake! Looks bloody fantastic!!

Yeah, I was thinking of watching it again (Prometheus), bit bloody late now though lol. I'm glad I ended up skipping it at the movies with all the average reviews it got. I thought it wasn't a bad lounge flick - yes, it wasn't the masterpiece we all wanted but it was still darn good entertainment and worthy of a sequel.

Saw Dredd today
If you go in with low expectations you won't mind it too much
Mainly just guns and shit blowing up lol
