Yeah agree. Quietly enjoyed Snow White and the Huntsman. Not a bad flick.

The new spiderman movie was terrible...just awful. Had to watch it in 20 minute segments with breaks over a whole day just to get through the whole movie

Ouch, thanks for the heads-up Straussy.  Am curious about it, and was thinking about hiring, may give it a miss....

Yeah don't waste your $$$ mate. Maybe check out those nifty torrent sites :P Some people may enjoy this movie, but I find Andrew Garfield is really awkward as spiderman and the villain is rather meh

It's one for a family vid, rather than an edgy adult experience, but watched Toy Story 3 the other day and (for a family flick, of course - not an awful lot of blood, sex and violence ) it's a top flick :).

Yep, I saw it yesterday with a friend and it was really good. Lots of intense and suspenseful moments, with some jokes/characters that lighten up the mood every now and then. It just makes you hope everything will be okay and I enjoyed it a lot :).

Too right Axe - I think Pixar are geniuses. However, I watched Brave the other day and was very disappointed... definitely not to their usual calibre. How to Train a Dragon is great as well - for a non-Pixar film, if you haven't seen it, it's worthy a watch for a bit of lighthearted viewing. :)

Thanks for the tip GC :).  I'd heard Brave was a bit each-way, but hadn't heard much about How to Train a Dragon - will have to track it down :).
