Haha (it's a fictional story, so laughter not inappropriate - perhaps less appropriate had it been non-fiction!), they did in the end, but he did some quality burning and got what he wanted by that stage .

I forgot to post this a whiles back, but I watched "The Wipers Times" on Netflix, and it's a bit different, and has some unpolished bits, but I thought it was pretty good.  Well worth a watch, particularly for anyone interested in WWI.

Watched a bunch more movies on netflix over last few months

[REC]: Was many months ago so don't remember that well but I enjoyed it, one of the better apocalypse/outbreak/monster thriller type movies ive seen.

The Ridiculous 6: I don't mind these really stupid type humour movies, wasn't too bad overall was pretty much as silly and out there as expected. Of course its not going to be for most only really for those that enjoy or dont mind these types.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue and Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast: I've watched two other Tinkerbell movies and enjoyed them so gave the ones on Netflix I hadn't seen a viewing. They are of course children's movies but I enjoy them for their good natured simple viewing.

12 Monkeys: I "watched" this I say "watched" as when I did I clearly didnt pay enough attention to fully go along with what was happening but it was interesting to see how it all came together in the end.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: I liked it obviously I adjusted my expectations going of course of it being a game to movie movie I think not sure how closely it follows any of the games having not really played any. Anyways I enjoyed it and wouldnt have minded if it had turned into a series of movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Watched the first 3, wouldve watched 4 if they had it on  netflix as well but alas. I really enjoy the movies they fufill my pirate needs and I love Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow still love his entrance at the start of 1.

Avengers: Age of Ultron: Enjoyed it, spectacles, superheroes and the setup to the next movie is all I need to please me. I dont think I will be able to accept anyone else playing the characters now though they've been in them too long for me to easily move on.

The Colony: One of those post-apocalyptic mid-grade movies. Nothing special but as I was in the mood for a movie like it wasnt too bad of course it goes as you pretty much would expect it to.

Dead Rising: Watchtower: Zombie movie based in the games universe so set your expectations to that, has appearance from Frank West. Wasn't full on Zombie or as outlandish as the games seem so it wouldn't really fulfil entirely your zombie needs as they were there but they weren't the forefront of the movie. In saying that I enjoyed it maybe if I was in a full zombie mood I wouldve been disappointed but I was more watching it to see how it is based on it sharing the name of the game series.

Dragon Lore: Curse of the Shadow: I mainly watched this movie as it had a pretty face on the cover. I couldn't help but think of Lord of the Rings while watching since it has Orks, Elves, Dwarves and Humans and there it a dark lord trying to be summoned. Wasn't too bad of a fantasy type movie but clearly one of your lower budget ones and couldn't shake those Lotr thoughts.

After the Dark: Another sort of apocalypse movie the apocalypses playout as a thinking game for a class of students. I enjoyed the start of it and I liked how it was going along but at the second attempt at it, it started to lose me and really took a turn downwards for me by the end. I didn't have many expectations going in I rarely do its why I can watch so many lower grade movies in which people pic apart the acting which I just honestly don't notice but this movie raised my expectations with how it started and as such ultimately disappointed me with how it turned out.

The Starving Games: A spoof movie which I enjoy watched many of them, this is one of the lower budget ones they dont seem as big as they once were for while. It was alright I was hampered by it being based on the Hunger Games it does get most of its references from that which I haven't seen.

Monsters: I didn't watch it this time, as I was watching I felt this Deja Vu and skipped through some of the scenes and sure enough it was all familiar and I realise I watched it sometime ago.

The Divide: Another apocalypse survival movie. Not too bad, Id say it turns into one of the darker mood apocalypse movies I've seen. I think that did change my opinion on it since I wasn't really expecting it to turn in that direction as far as it did, was more watching thinking it would be your more typical "lighter" apocalypse survival type movie. It does have one really wtf moment at the end that did have me going really?

Stranded: Space/Alien, movie again was alright was a few oddities that did irk me a little for example right at the start of the movie the base gets hit my asteroids and in that one of the escape pods gets damaged because the pod tube hatches are left open and don't close in time. Irked me as you would think the hatches would be closed by default why risk any damage to your escape.

The Duff: Your High School comedy one of the better ones I've seen had quite a few laughs.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation enjoy the Mission Impossible movies love hearing the theme song, I enjoyed Rogue Nation though not as much as the previous ones, I didnt feel as if the Missions were on as grand scale as in the past one.

That's some serious watching .  I wonder if when(if) you watch the Hunger Games, you'll find it funnier because of the Starving games? .

Bat v Sup was alright for what it was. The trailer did kinda spoil most of the movie.
Dunno why people say Afflect was a good batman, was painful to watch (Probably cause i've never liked anything he's done lol).
Too much went on during the movie, overall they did a decent job for what they were trying to do.

Wouldn't recommend rushing off to the movies to watch, easily a "Wait for dvd" movie.

I'm all about the balance lol.
The people i know who said it was terrible, they went in with Marvels movie mindsets, which obviously will have a bad time. Imo, they set the ground works for the justice league movies pretty well. Just as i said there was too much going on in the 1 movie, but doesn't make it a "terrible" movie.


Also saw "The 5th wave", was half decent. Just another typical Alien blah blah destroying our world blah blah blah movie lol.

And once again, looks like they've picked a great female lead. I want to 'eventually' see new stories as well (once they're done all the tie-ins). There's tonnes they could tell and it doesn't always have to have Jedi in it (like Rogue One). It's the whole lore/universe that's appealing, particularly that time period... which keeps all the things that made Star Wars so iconic in the first place (eg. x-wings, tie-fighters etc).

It would be awesome if they brought back some of the Expanded Universe stuff like Grand Admiral Thrawn, Shadows of the Empire or X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. Some of the EU was great and would be a shame if was just left on the dust bin.

Cheers for the tip Clowny .  Haven't really watched any new movies that have blown me away lately (in fact, right now, I can't really remember what I've watched, which suggests they weren't crazy memorable!), or would share as well.  Re-watching Iron Man 1 and 2, and it's still good popcorn action .

Yeah - there really hasn't been that much to get excited about. I did watch The Martian some time ago and thought that was very good though. That'd definitely be something you should get your hands on if you haven't already. Other than that, I've been watching some older flicks I haven't seen for a long time like Galaxy Quest and Coming to America.
