Not really. Just load up the "Previous" save, not the current save since if you die, it auto saves onto the current. And since you should be saving every point you see, shouldn't be much hassle.
That or if you're quick enough to hit start can load the save and avoid the death altogether haha.

Ah. I see, that's good to know.

Went back to AC:Unity this week for some left-over side missions and collectibles.  Game has a lot of collectibles and side missions - I think 400 chests (maybe around half of which are locked, which is 200 lockpicking minigames) and maybe 70-100 'normal' side missions, and then a few 'search around' puzzles and some murder-mysteries.  Loved the murder mysteries, and played all the ones I'd found on the map, but while I'm generally a completist, and loved the setting, and have a high tolerance for repetition, 400 chests and all those 'normal' side missions was enough for me, so have wrapped up the playthrough.  Would recommend it to fans of Assassin's Creed (or 18th century Paris :)), other than my issues early on, the game didn't bug out much at all (maybe twice in 45-odd hours?)

Moving onto Dragon Age: Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon DLC - early vibe (an hour or so in) is that it's more of the same, but it's good same - a new region to explore (and reasonably sized), new dialogue for the characters that are still with you, and some interesting quests and lore and decent baddies to clobber (the enemies scaled to my level, so remain a challenge - a little mark against immersion (there are giant spiders roaming the wilds that were the same level as the end boss of the game!) but probably necessary to make gameplay interesting).

Ah, well there you go. Sounds interesting, might have to add it to the list.

Nice one Graph :).  At this rate you should have time for at least one more Fallout game before FO4 arrives :).

It's on special at the moment with the sales, $10.76 I think with a 10% PS+ discount, if that helps. It'll probably be cheaper later of course, so if not looking to play soon, waiting until nearer to the time you think you'll play it is always the best bet.

Bought the Crysis collection late last night. Starting with Warhead as I've never played it before. Definitely not expecting anything fantastic.. apart from the graphics of course.

Got what is apparently a major game breaking bug in Alien.  Well that was two days of 'progress' wasted. Gotta redo all that stuff now. Great. How can this game be 10 months old and still have a game breaking bug in it?

At the beginning of Mission 16 the game spawned me in the wrong place (which I didn't realise at the time) meaning that once I got to the end of 16 there was a door that would not open, making progress impossible. In order to get around it I had to do 15 over again without saving and then quit the game, load autosave, blah blah blah.... hassle. Which I did and now I'm in the right location going forward. I don't understand how this is something that hasn't been fixed. There are entire threads dedicated to this problem dating back to October.

Havent come across this myself, that just sucks especially after Mission 15.
Probably since i have the ps3 version and most of the problems (I just had a quick looksy at forums) was Ps4.

Got stuck into Asylum over the weekend. Not bad, but im still not sold on it.
Combat system is pretty sweet though, well done on that front.

Finished my first run of Isolation. Such a great game. Everything I could want from an Alien game. (Apart from a huge bug). <-HA! Unintentional funny.

That's bloody ridiculous.  I have the same reaction when I trip over major bugs when I'm playing a game 6+ months after release and when the patching cycles has finished.  Standards ain't what they used to be.  Glad you were still able to progress, although sympathies for the hassle!

Speaking of things that ain't what they used to be, played a quick blast of Duke Nukem 3D on the Vita - great fun, but the sensibilities of that game make GTA look tame in some parts ;).

Played some Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris with Eco, Radi and Hasan yesterday and it was hilarious :D. The game itself is good (but not really great) so far with a few glitches and bugs here and there, particularly when we would randomly die for no reason sometimes when the game loaded into different areas. Some of the puzzles were fun to figure out together though. There is a nice sense of adventure too with a fair few things that we have to complete or progress with teamwork and lots of gems to fight for (because they aren't shared) and collectibles to find and pick up.

The co-op is in a top-down view with a shared screen for all players so when any of us moved towards an edge of the screen it would pull the camera in that direction. This made for some great moments when we would each rush towards collecting gems and loot and play tug of war with the camera so we could get to our own ones first, haha. Sometimes one or two of us would even sneak off and collect gems while everyone else was busy fighting off enemies or blocked by other obstacles too, which made for lots of mad scrambling and laughs when they got caught . All of which is probably not helped by the friendly fire bombing going on all over the place, haha.

Started Submerged. Liking it so far. It has a nice aesthetic (will post pics tomorrow) and is very chill and relaxing. The world has an interesting story to uncover. Trying to decipher the images you find is fun. The only negative at the moment is the framerate tanks every now and again, which is disappointing considering how simplistic the game is.

Been playing the two iOS games I bought the other day
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved(iOS) its as good as it can be without a controller which, looks so good on the iPad retina display and runs at 60fps as well, everything is so fluid and crisp, really good looking game. Content wise has enough to be satisfied with, extra ships, upgrades, adventure mode, extra modes.
Controls I cant fault on there own, for touch controls they are responsive, work, haven't had an issue with them at all.
When comparing to a controller though they are a bit lacking, your thumb needs to be nice a slippery for it to get a similar fluid of motion that a stick would provide, it is noticeable when your thumb doesn't want to slide around on the screen easily more so for the fire rather tan movement though. Other disadvantage over a controller layout is triggering bombs and supers.

The game just shouts quality all around. I wont grab a controller for the iPad it would be cheaper to just get GW3:DE on steam when its on sale, which I will look to do. In the mean time the iOS version is going to get a bit of play time.

The Room(iOS) is short. Its playtime will vary on how quickly you can get through the few rooms(Puzzles) its provides(I only have the epilogue left). Its not straight forward several times I got stuck thankfully the hints were good enough to get me in the right direction. You really have to explore a bit and the controls hamper this a bit, I wish it was more fluid to zoom in and out and around the object.

It was a interesting time with it albeit short, cant complain for $1.29 it has been good.
