Dirt Showdown (PC) pretty much done with it after 10 hours but it served its purpose of simple fun when I haven't been too in the mood for games of late.

It was fun, you could feel the similarities from the previous Dirts with modified tracks from 2 and 3 returning.
I think a poor thing is you can only earn money from winning events once after that you have to get it from online.
Good thing to see if the inclusion of split-screen though, with PC's easier then ever to hookup to the TV its good thing to see.
Like Dirt 3 I did give online a quick go and like Dirt 3 found no matches.

Overall it was a fun little excursion when I needed something easy and simple, much shorter then the mainline entries though.

Finally got tired of Love Live School Idol Project lasted me a while but finally started to loose that urge to play, will still return to it I think from time to time so I will keep it installed.

Dude, that's hardcore. You started playing that ages ago. Do you feel like you can become an idol now?

Yep I started that last year in December I think, then up until last week played it alot, I got hooked, making sure to use all my stamina, never gave in to spend anything though.

I feel Id still have to play and master expert difficulty before I could become and idol.

Started Alien: Isolation. Liking it so far, very eerie. Feels like Alien. So far I'm enjoying wandering around taking in the atmosphere the most. Leaving no stone unturned.

Update: And now I'm scared.

lol - this is what happened to me... playing with headphones and in the dark didn't help either. Think this'll be the next game I return to and actually finish.

Been playing Portal Stories: Mel which is a Portal 2 mod (all you need is Portal 2 on PC). Not bad... puzzle difficulty ramps up rather quickly which is what you'd expect. They seem to be a bit more complex than Portal 2 itself. Intro was a bit long though and whilst there's voice acting in there, it's not on the level as what Valve had done (not that I was expecting it to be).

I've only played a few hours so far. I can see the game's potential and I do enjoy stealth games but the AI seems a bit wonky to make it a great game. I've been spotted when I felt like I shouldn't have been quite a few times. The game wants you to use shadow but I'm frequently spotted when in the shadows. It's weird and just a bit frustrating, especially when the load times are longer than you'd think they should be for this kind of game.

I'll keep playing it for now as I want to see how the game-play develops. Maybe as I skill up I'll get spotted less. But that seems counter intuitive. Games should get harder not easier but who knows maybe this game is weird like that.

P.S. Alien is still making me ruin my breeches. One time I spend 10mins under a table too scared to move.

Further to this - the more I'm playing it, the more I'm enjoying it. Puzzles as said are rather tough and will bend your mind, some you'll breeze through though. It's free (if you own a PC and Portal 2) so can't recommend it enough.

Finished Witcher 3. It really was amazing. I find myself waiting for the new game plus mode to be added so I can just keep going with it.

Good luck with it when you get around to playing it. Trust me, you'll need it. Had to cheat and look online for one of them, otherwise my brain would have exploded.

I love games like that - you finish playing them and you just want to start them right up again :D.  Witcher 2 was like that with me, as was every main MGS game B).

Not really. Just load up the "Previous" save, not the current save since if you die, it auto saves onto the current. And since you should be saving every point you see, shouldn't be much hassle.
That or if you're quick enough to hit start can load the save and avoid the death altogether haha.

Kinda cheap but after 6 full runs dying almost all in the same spots nearish the end, cheap was good lol.
