fallout vegas still.

been really enjoying it, but had to go into a casino & give up all my weapons, including those of my followers who was equipped with a unique sniper rifle that matched the character.  completed the casino missions, left & retrieved the weapons but the unique rifle was gone *argh*.

not game wrecking, but it's frustrating none the less.

re. wheels, so few racing games on ps4/x1 is it worth any wheel at all ?  then there's the issue that you can't use it for both consoles as well, frustrated the crap outta me when i had both the 360 & ps3 with both dfgt & g27 & was stuck with them on one system.

Well that's it - I had a Microsoft wheel for the 360 and Forza - but it was cheap like the DFGT so it didn't hurt too bad and I could play Forza or GT (because I had the DFGT as well). To do that this gen it'd cost at least twice as much. Luckily though the T300 is getting plenty of usage on the PC. If I was still stuck with just a PS4 and only Project Cars, I wouldn't see the value in it.

Tried some more Bloodborne. regretted it. Hit a big wall with progression. Tried getting coop help for a boss I'm stuck on but they keep dying on me lol.

Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor finished its 3 mini campaigns. Enjoyed the first 2, 3rd one suffered from poor planning on my part so it wasn't as enjoyable. I didn't mind the more tactical squad base approach the first 2 took in only giving you a few squads for the entire mission. It gave me more confidence that I will end up enjoying Dawn of War 2's gameplay focus shift.

Implosion - Never Lose Hope (iOS) its good but I am glad I didn't grab it full price, as I feel I would've regretted it a bit. It is polished and everything but playing it straight forward, it works well but nothing new is really happening so far as I enter Chapter 3. You pretty much slash, shoot, dodge your way through the smallish levels and that's it.

Had a short one game revisit in Dawn of War 1 - GOTY Edition since it got an update adding trading cards, ended up having to run it in compatibility mode since the after the update it just couldnt make it past the splash screens when I tried to run it.

Also played a little bit of Zuma's Revenge since its free on Origin. Have one of the Luxor's which is similar to it and played a demo of it a fair bit. Like Peggle and Bejewelled I don't mind playing a more causal game though if it gets anything like Luxor did at the end it wont be a walk to complete it.

Nice one Spec .  I might have to go back to Company of Heroes - I enjoyed it, but found once I'd finished the main campaign I was a bit bored of it (the tactics needed most times were pretty similar, and it just got a bit same-old, same-old for me), as it sounds like they mixed it up a bit, which is a good thing .  Still running viruses here, so taking it slow and hammering Europa Universalis 4 at the moment.  About to finish a playthrough, anyone got any favourite countries that were around in 1444 that I should try and build up?

I've been meaning to play some Europa but there's just been so many other games haha. Have you played around the America's yet?

I got on a roll last night and finished Bloodborne, been a long time that a game really felt like an achievement like that. If it wasn't for being able to call in people over coop though doubt I would've ever finished lol. I'm left wondering what just happened too.

Been waiting for the next patch for Witcher, lots of things I've been wanting are going to be in it like inventory sorting, storage etc. I'm a really bad hoarder so a separate section for books alone is going to be fantastic haha.

Congrats Smokey and nice work .  By all accounts, Bloodborne doesn't take any prisoners or give away anything without a fight!  I definitely recommend EU4, particularly after the Common Sense (although it changed so many things there's no rush, as they're still post-launch patching to stabilise things and get it all good, but it's very much playable at the moment).  I've played as the Cherokee before (managed to occupy pretty much all of the modern US and Canada as them, and keep those interfering Europeans from causing trouble ), it's good fun, if a bit slow early on.  I'm yet to have a run as a Central or South American nation though, although I was thinking about playing a nation in India or South-East Asia, as I haven't played anyone from around there in any of PDS' games yet.

Bought F1 2015 on the PC. I haven't played/bought one since 2012 I think so it's been a long while. They've definitely stripped back some of the features that came with the latter ones (which I didn't play) but I'm only really in it to do time trials (where I've got a few top 50s already) and the Pro Season Mode which is no assists, no HUD, in-car view only and full laps. Managed only to get 4th on the grid in Australian qualifying... the AI is on Legend (the hardest) though. Naturally will get better and better as I play it more.

The good thing about taking forever to finish The Witcher is that you can take advantage of all the awesome updates. The latest one added some nice features like stashes and weightless alchemy and craft items.

started playing the old world blues dlc in new vegas, it's tons better than honest hearts, tons & tons of loot (maybe too much), really difficult to defeat enemies.  bit of a shame it's all kinda light hearted/not serious though, full of dick jokes & other kinda lame stuff like a gun that's a dog with a brain etc.  all in all still pretty good though.

that dog 'rosie' i think it was called i let die.  was getting killed over & over so i just thought oh well.  the dog 'gun' i'm talking about is the k9000 & FIDO, basically a mini gun that fires .38 rounds, has a brain on the side & growls & barks.

That's it, the gun with a dog brain, that's a classic .  My Fallout dogs don't tend to last long either .

this old world blues dlc is harder than anything i've tackled in fallout nv or 3 before though.  i went in at about level 40, massive amounts of ammo, hundreds of stimpacks & now i continually run out of stimpacks & i'm having to craft & conserve ammo all the time plus mix up my weapons.  not sure if it's because it scaled with my level perhaps ?  i only wish they hadn't taken a light hearted approach to this dlc as it could've been something amazing.

After playing EU4 and AC:Unity alongside each other for what felt like an age, I've finally finished a game!  Wrapped up my English playthrough of EU4 (a pretty easy game, as England is a pretty strong start, but I was crook so didn't want anything too challenging) and wrapped up AC:U's main story, and now getting my teeth into LittleBigPlanet 3 (with a little Civ V on the side).  Early impressions are very good - like LBP's of the past, but more polished, faster loading (still slow-ish, but paster than previous LBPs) and more variety.  And the game still lets you play levels from earlier LBPs - I jumped in and gave a quick run of my (somewhat basic) LBP1 levels I put together, over half a decade ago now!  Looking forward to playing more tonight, might even have a crack at putting a level together down the track, although that's a bit less likely.  Deffo recommend it to fans of LBP .
