you're talking about metro 2033 ?  when i played that on ps3, i got caught out in the open somewhere without enough air filters & no clue of where to go & that was that lol.

the new metro has full nudity in it, yet to play it :S

loving fallout new vegas again, have managed to complete a couple of quests i'd fudge before.  it still isn't running smoothly, still that micro stutter thing, it's more frequent but the stutter isn't as long.  also you'll enter some buildings, even buildings with only one room & it runs really rough, just can't be bothered trying to do a fix on it after trying previously & failing.

Have you modded it at all?

nah no mods, have considered many times over, but if i start modding i'll lose game time on it (not to mention i'll probably break something lol).

If it's the same as modding Skyrim, then it's pretty easy. I recommend this guy - I used him for the Skyrim ones.

Decided to start playing Dishonored again. I'll run through the main again and then do the DLC which I haven't played before.

^^^ Dishonored DLC was mostly good, the challenge maps enjoyment will depend on how much you enjoy that sort of thing, they didn't click with me, but the Daud story was good I enjoyed that on the same level as the main game.


I have been playing through Company of Heroes. Its been on my radar a few times by virtue of being an RTS and cheap but its not my preferred style of RTS with sector and map control a focus to success so I skipped on it till the Relic bundle.

Had a few skirmish goes on easy(All I really ever play in RTS) of the Victory Point objective and wasn't really my thing too aggressive and fast paced for me. Had a few annihilation rounds and it was closer to my style can definitely see the similarities to they used between it and Dawn of War 1.

I went through the campaign(Base and half the first exp) and I enjoyed it so far. I liked the varied objectives/scenarios  that it presented and that it wasn't just a bunch of skirmish maps with story in between. Not too big a buff on modern history but I like that it does follows it storywise ads another layer.

With this and Space Marine the Relic bundle has already paid for its self and neither were the main reason I bought it.

Yeah - it's good they're re-releasing it on PS4 at the end of the year. Should be on par (at least) with the PC version. It's a top bloody game and I'm enjoying it just as much as the first time. The only thing that's letting it down is I kinda remember all the best ways you can kill your targets... so there's no discovery anymore (which is a big part of the enjoyment).

Not really interested in challenge maps. I've usually avoided them in other games, so dare say it'll be the same here. Company of Heroes is a top game as well - particularly for its time.

Weekend plan is to:

1) Finally try out the FFB fix, Germany and Pikes Peak in Dirt Rally.
2) Download some Mods for Assetto Corsa. Lots of Aussie tracks that have been done well. Barbagallo, Adelaide Clipsal 500 etc + the F1 mod and some F1 tracks.
3) Play some more Dishonored. Currently up to the bridge mission.

dirt rally also had another big update, includes more new classes & also tarmac racing i think.

Yeah mate - Germany as said. Came with a few new cars and 12 new tarmac courses. Still though - am excited to try the FFB out.

To the guys who own racing wheels... Is the Thrustmaster t80 worth getting? Been playing Driveclub and wouldn't mind a steering wheel, but don't think that i want to pay $350+ for one... not yet anyway. Worth getting a t80, or should i hold on and grab a better one later on? Cheers.

Edit: Even if i was to get it for less than $100, doesn't seem worth it. Doesn't have much going for it.

I couldn't really tell you. What I can tell you though is it has a bungie cord in it and no force feedback. The problem with this gen is there's no real option for an affordable decent wheel with force feedback like we did with the DFGT last gen.

All the bungie cord is doing is flinging the wheel back to centre so you get a fake sense of tension in the wheel.

I'd personally get a T300 but it's $490 for one so you do need to be a serious racer to fork out that much. If it's just a novelty that's going to wear off for you and you don't venture into other racing games, then I probably wouldn't even bother with a wheel at all. I'd say (even though I haven't played it), DriveClub is arcade enough to be easy and enjoyable enough to play with a controller. Once you get into sim racers, it become less enjoyable and more difficult to play with a controller.

The key is getting a wheel with force feedback. It makes a huge difference because you can actually feel what the car is doing ... it's 'almost' like driving the real thing.

Yeah, after i posted it, i had realized that it didn't have ffb. Do plan on getting into GT7 later on down the track as well, so might pick one up when that comes out. There are sure to be new wheels that come out then as well. Thanks for the help Clowny!

Downloaded a crap load of track mods for Assetto Corsa. Of course there's the usual (or well known) ones to pick from but I've been going some of the ones you usually don't find in racing games. There's quite a few V8 supercar tracks in there, from Adelaide Clipsal 500, to Eastern Creek Raceway to Barbagello. All very well made. Also tracks from around the world that I'd never heard of (or hadn't been in other racing games). Along with some great point to point hill climb type tracks as well. Really has bought this game alive. The only car I've downloaded thus far (because I was busy downloading tracks) is this:

Really enjoying this track in this car as well...
