Haha stuff that, wouldn't have the patience for it :P

Still re-living my Ps1 favorites. Dino crisis being a bullshit survival horror, puts about 50 dinosaurs in game, enough ammo to kill 10 haha. Still cant understand why the 2 NPC's get a sniper/Machine gun, but the chick has a handgun and has to do everything.. *Gaming logic*.
Metal Gear Solid, years ahead of its time, still a better SP than most modern games.

evil within just hit a new low point.  i'm at the level we had a play of at eb expo.  basically this ghost guy can randomly appear & kill you with one hit, the real clincher is the parts of the level can be quite drawn out & parts of it take a bit of time, only for him to appear & kill you.  sometimes he'll appear somewhere that you can just run away from & wait him out (activating all the other baddies in the process though). other times he'll appear between you & the only exit to a room, or immediately behind you where you can't even see him (which i just copped).  so fkn stupid, no wonder the game scored so poorly.

:(  Insta-gank based on random, non-controllable circumstances is never fun, hope you're through that stage quickly.

it's dragging out for me now unfortunately.  i'm up to a boss in an underground car park that has a massive eye.  i get it to the final stage where it just eats you even through walls :S  there's no clever design or anything in the way it attacks & i appear to be getting severely punished due to not upgrading my stamina over guns looking at youtube vids of it, which appear to be on easy the few hits it's taking to down the guy compared to my stuff that's either maxed out or close to & he isn't dying.  the vids take him down in about 3 minutes, i'm spending the better part of 10 minutes on each attempt & literally destroying him until he just decides to eat me through the wall or around a corner.

Bought Womb Raider earlier today. Downloaded it, haven't played it yet though. Might give it a try after the tennis.

So far better than the last one - much better. Maybe the MS extra funding did it well - so it's not all bad that it was delayed (by a couple of months).

That's great news - I'm with Graph, was a big fan of the first, the second being better is a good thing - sounds like a travesty it's been relatively under-appreciated (commercially, not critically) so far.

I'm excited for it but I really don't want to give them money after all the shenanigans. Pricey season pass doesn't do it any favours with it releasing after the fact too. Happy to wait until it's ridiculously cheap on steam.

Still enjoying Rise of the Tomb Raider. There's heaps more tombs to explore (compared to the last). They're not very difficult or complex (yet) though so they don't take very long to solve which is a pity.

i have witcher 3 & a couple of little turn based games installing at the moment, but not looking to play anything else as XCOM 2 is out friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone watched any XCOM 2 vids ?  you see the customisation vids for your characters in it ?  i became attached to them in the previous game, this is going to take it to a whole new level so really really keen.  hope the game isn't a let down as i'm not really taken with the storyline after where the last XCOM left off & this one doesn't fully appreciate what could've/should've resulted.

Haha, how long until you're back into the trucking lifestyle Clowny? :).

Good luck with XCOM 2 Graph, deffo interested in your thoughts.  Good luck finishing Witcher 3 by Friday!

Still playing War in the East here - up to August 1942 as Germany and doing fairly well.  Only about 55 hours of gameplay to get from June 1941 to Aug 42, but there's a chance that I can completely defeat the Soviets and so finish 'quickly', instead of playing all the way to 1945 - if no quick defeat, then I may be at it for a while!

I've been playing BigFest on the Vita. It's like a Theme Hospital type game but for music festivals. I really want to like but there's lots of things rough around the edges with it and I can't seem to find any info online about it maybe receiving some updates and attention that it desperately needs. Can't recommend it at this point.

One thing in particular is that your supposed to browse through bands online and give them a rising profile but as of right now every single song/band that's accessible is already at the maximum level due to everyone using all the content that's on there already I guess. If you have a high level band they will just outright refuse to play if they aren't the main headliner either so it's almost unplayable from this alone.

Cheers for the heads-up Smokey, and sorry to hear the game needs a bit more polish, hope it gets it, I like the idea of it as a game.
