so xcom 2's uninstalled, likely never to be played again as it's not much better than trash (finished enemy unknown on both ps3 & pc & more than once too).

started up witcher 3 & right away it looks & plays amazing !!!  not very far into it but loving it already, i wanna have a really solid play through before dark souls 3 lands as that's the next game on my radar =)

Haha, by most accounts Witcher 3 is one of the best RPGs ever.  I really must do something about adding my account to that collection of reports as well, but hey, can't rush these things :).  Enjoy, hope it's as awesome as everyone says it is :D.

I enjoyed Dogma on the PS3, never finished it so I'm thinking of picking it up on PC but not anytime soon.

I'm still going through a NG+ of Witcher 3. It really is amazing. Thinking the next expansion will come along while I'm still playing at this point.

It's the Dark Arisen version of Dragon's Dogma not a sequel.

I'm still working my way through my NG+ of Witcher 3 as well. Hoping to get lvled up in prep for Blood & Wine. Can't wait.

Played a little CK2, but back to playing Rule the Waves again - there's something quite addictive about the ridiculously flash graphics building your own ships (designing them, in a reasonable amount of detail), deploying them strategically and fighting them tactically.  Playing as the French this time around, just managed to fight Germany to a standstill in a fairly brutal war.  Graph - if you could look past the visuals and spent a bit of time getting to learn it, I reckon you could get into this....

Here's a couple of reviews/articles:

If you're interested, store page is:

The download setup is a bit funny - be sure to follow the instructions carefully when you download it - if you do get it and have trouble getting your key, let me know and I can talk you through it.  It's like buying games online pre-Steam ;).

i'm not finding the combat in witcher 3 as satisfying as it was in 2.  at the moment it's just button bashing.

Yeah Bloodborne really made me feel that the combat was quite terrible in Witcher 3 to be honest. Thankfully the experience doesn't nearly revolve around it at all. There's just no weight I find to Geralts movements. I didn't like it in 2 either.

i always find after dark souls the combat of every game is lacking lol, people mock the dodge, attack, dodge, attack, block etc but it's all timing, reflexes & nailing the right move.  that's essentially what makes a game after the story.

Wrapped up my RtW playthrough (as the USA, for something a bit different) and giving China a run in Victoria II.  Need to find something more interesting to report on in this thread!

I've been playing a bit of Rebel Galaxy lately which is a fun smaller scale freelancer style game. It's a nice game while waiting for No Man's Sky. Great voice acting for an indie. I laugh every single time in a dogfight and you hear "your tearing me apart!"

Yeah - I'm too much of a pussy to play it. I really need to man up and get stuck into it (Alien: Isolation).
