that should be more than adequate to run anything at 1080p with little hassle

OK. I'm going to have to change my assessment of Battlefront. The game was fun, until you get high enough level that the game starts matchmaking you with people who have unlocked all the bullshit gadgets. You can still have good matches and it can be fun, You just gotta back the BS when it hits.

Yeah exactly, when there's no complications things run like a dream though. Me and PC gaming just are not getting on right now though lol.

I was mildly interested in Battlefront but it's just too expensive right now for what is really multiplayer only. I doubt when it gets cheap it'll have much of a base with how it usually goes, I hope I'm wrong though.

Friend leant a copy of Arkham Knight and I'm disappointed so far. I'm enjoying the story but it's a real let down gameplay wise. for what was supposed to be the most exciting, open entry I'm going to stick to mostly the story parts I think which is a shame.
Mostly because of the batmobile, it's not so much the controls are bad it's that your just constantly thrown these silly gamey hurdles constantly. It feels like silly mini games playing tank and jumping through needles physical environment hoops and you don't feel like batman at all. Why couldn't it have just been the way you got from point a to b smoothly? "grumble grumble"

Gone back to Bloodborne, As much as I like Wticher man I wish it controlled as well as Bloodborne or MGSV.

The game is good but it has some serious latency issues. Which is to be expected. Then again U3 MP never fixed its issues. It's probably P2P.

Also I'm already getting a sense of the things that are going to annoy. (sidekicks)

Sad face if they go P2P again, but it was still fun with the lag.  Good luck with those sidekicks :P.

Got tired of all the nonsense that has been happening with my PC and I'm doing a clean install. Windows 10 ended up going into a endless update loop which nothing helped. Playing the game of "install everything all over again" :(

Bugger! I didn't have any problems updating to it... although, even if I did there's really not much on my drives that are important. Still do all my work on my Mac, even though it's probably 10 times less powerful. OSX FTW!

Given all of the Grid games ago, which I got from the last Codemasters Humble Bundle.

Only played 2 and Autosport for the card drops for now, they don't run as well as I would like on my system to play them fully through but I enjoyed the few hours in each.

Started Grid(PC) for a full play-through though, and wow that rubber-banding certainly makes itself known early on.

In the 24 hours of LeMans, it has multi class racing(Which is a plus) being my first time I was limited to a GT2 class car but there are also GT1, LMP2 and LMP1 classes. Anyways I finish 50s off the leader a LMP1 car as expected, what was unexpected was the whole race seeing the car right infront of me(The last car in the GT1 class) being only 5 or so second off the leader. So the 9 cars infront of me 3 different class one of which drastically different and shouldnt be near the LMP's all condensed in a little pack.

Second notice of it is during touge races, a round based one on one race, and how when cars came to verse me they speed up drastically over their previous rounds 12-20s quicker.

I've never found rubberbanding fun or ever liked seeing its appearance, if I am too slow Ill turn the difficulty down, if I am too fast and I feel like more of a challenge I turn it up.

I'm playing on normal but already next time I'm just going to turn it down to whatever the easiest setting to hopefully turn down its effect is to save myself from the rage that will occur when it seems only an inevitable that its going to cost me race through it super powering a car past me. I'm not too surprised by this Grid has been on my radar and during research of the game have come across complaints of the rubberbanding.

Also been playing Colin Mcrae Rally(PC) before anyone gets excited its a mobile port. Honestly I kinda just played it for the cards then achievements plus of course it runs fairly well on my system.
I wouldn't recommend anyone playing it let alone buying it really though, I got it in the bundle. The handling would be worse then what the PS2 games were. One good thing about it is track length isnt too bad, most go near or over 3min but with the handling the way it is maybe that's not a good thing.

Also been playing Ni No Kuni(PS3). Its not too bad, setting, story and world all good, bit sadden by how little the Studio Ghibli cut-scenes have been appearing as they are always a pleasure for the eyes.
The familiars just lack any charm for me I haven't been drawn too any of them, the gameplay is repetitive and the friendly A.I. frustrating. I feel it could do with some stream lining as well, having to go through the whole process every time to give/take heart with the amount of times you do it is annoying. Evolving familiars is annoying for me to the point Im re-lucent to do it since it reverts them back to level one, which when you had to do it the first time significantly weakened my team.

Playing on normal and doing any side quests as I come to them so thankfully have generally been levelled enough to avoid any of the difficulty spikes ive seen mentioned bar one mentioned below. I havent gone past that point yet.

I love Ni No Kuni but for some reason I've never been actually able to finish it. Maybe with the sequel announced I might finally do it.

^Thats a bit funny the person I'm borrowing it off enjoys it and would recommend I buy it when ever it went on sale but also hasn't finished it either.

Been playing more Grid (PC) thankfully no real signs of rubber-banding so went back from the basic(easiest) to normal(second easiest), for the most part the AI wont keep up once out in front. Going down on Basic during a Togue event did let me see the AI improve its times by around a minute when it would come up to versing me and there still is some funny business going on at LeMans after trying out both the GT1 and GT2 classes to compare finish results.

Everything was all well till meeting Ravenwest whom I am unable to touch on normal difficulty, they just get a lead and maintain it perfectly regardless what I do. On basic I can beat them they arent too hard to get ahead of for me but once I do they will stick to my rear end till the end of the race waiting for a mistake to pounce. Even then on basic the easiest difficulty they can still be un-catchable for me sometimes. I mean the game itself even builds them up as being some great team, saying "oh ravenwest settle for 3rd or just do your best", I just think for the easiest setting based on how I do in other racing games they shouldn't give me any real trouble in it.

I also notice some cars seem to suffer from understeer and you cant tune them or anything to change it so you have to go find another car in the class which thankfully I have been able to do.

I do like the variety of tracks, cars and event types though, togue are interesting, one on one and the person behind will get penalised for any contact made between, it can make for a interesting race where you really need to get a clean pass or at least infront so you arent the "behind" car when contact is made.

LeMans am I glad you dont have to do it, since it comes up at the end of every season(You will go through a lot to do everything) and its a bit boring since the width of it as been widened.

It does suffer from another pet peeve in racing games of mine though and that is your car weight is not equal to the AI car weights, their cars are alot more stable then yours in regards to contact and such while yours takes very little in comparison to get nudged off line or spun out. Really annoying thing for me when the AI really does feel literally stuck to the road while any contact and its you in to wall and the AI carrying on regardless of how it happens.

I am enjoying having my own team with own livery and sponsors and up and down teammate.

I also carried on with Europa Universalis III(PC), I started as Japan, I have no idea what I am doing or what to do. I made a royal marriage with Ming, managed to declare war with a tiny island, occupy it, and then give it back, I settled an unsettled land, and also converted one of my islands to the national religion. I still dont know what to do, so much clicky everywhere and numbers and things. Progress is slow I fast forwarded several decades and I still seem to be where I started. My main plan is to get in an alliance with Ming since its big and becomes China, I dont know how to do this since I am tiny and they say its impossible and reject me cause I'm not worthy enough. So I guess I will just form armies and fastforward time to get settlers till I am worthy.

On a another note the games 3 card drops gave me 3 of the 5 you need, I feel this is worth stating as the drops always like to give me doubles even when statistics say its a greater chance to not get double, it still gives you double cause its rigged to encourage you to use the marketplace more -____-

Edit:
Went searching for any reasons about the understeer as it really does annoy me especially at LeMans when I just cant compete with the AI for corner speed as I seem to be struck by mass amounts of understeer when trying to match them, plus the amounts of understeer just didn't make since especially in the LMP2 car which was jut struggling to turn in. Red turning on stability control to reduce understeer was an option and did that and now I can actually compete with the AI in corners in the faster cars, its made it an even playing feild in that regard now. During my readings I did read the problem might be specificity with the X360 controller and something Codemasters did in a patch that fiddled with cornering sensitivity at higher speeds but didnt read too much into it.

Nice one Spec, get into it :).  It does take a little while to get the hang of, but once you're into it, it can be a lot of fun.  I'm sorry I didn't think of this earlier, but there's a wiki:

http://www.eu3wiki.c...versalis_3_Wiki

There are links in that to guides on all the games' systems.  The general strategy is to grow in stages, so pick on smaller nations to become a bigger one, although if timed right (ie, after a larger neighbour has been, or is being, hammered in a war) you can have success taking land off them there as well.  Good luck :).

Finished up Grid(PC) was better once I got rid of that understeer, game felt better to drive and such. Overall was good in the end, did drag a bit since I focused on regions so I repeated the same tracks many times over after one another, in hindsight should have gone through the regions evenly.

So I moved on to Grid 2(PC), PC doesn't like it at times though and tanks the frame-rate which the controls then follow afterwards and then generally a crash but other then that enjoying it, more so then 1. Love the togue tracks in Hong Kong and Japan, really fun to drive, curving, sweeping, the Japan track has some pretty crazy inclines.
Again it has a good variety of track events and areas and track types. Again I like being able to create your own livery and this time have several across different cars, I do miss my team mate though a bit.

Also I while back I did play some more Lara Croft Go (iOS) as it got an free level update. This level was much harder then the base game. Some levels did give alot of frustration when I would get stuck stuck and unable to even see how it was meant to be done, but for the most part they made me think but were flowing. I could see what I had to do and then I would just work and think my way through the steps learning from mistakes so it was good.
