Yeah - I think it's 30-40 days or something, can't remember. It is a bloody great game though. I'll definitely revisit it again and try one of the other challenges.

Another cool little game people should try is Door Kickers.

Not sure why, but decided to take a break from Elder Scrolls Online a couple of weeks ago - might have had enough for now I guess?  I tend to do that with the core Elder Scrolls games as well, so I shouldn't be surprised.  Hammered Europa Universalis 4 since then, but having a crack at something different, so giving Ether One a look.  Only played half-hour or so, so far, and it starts reasonably enough.  Very slow-paced adventure-style game, but that's what I'm up for at the moment.  Will report back whether it develops well or not .

Played Battlefront Beta. It was all right. Hard to judge with such a limited beta. But from what is there is seems rather shallow in terms of gameplay depth.

This game is fucking brutal haha! Can forsee my playing this multiple playthroughs.
Though i think we're on track for the worst ending atm. Keeping them all alive will be interesting to say the least.

Haha, I can see it now - you're going in to get treatment for PTSD, and the doc asks which war you were in, or whether you were in an accident or something, and you reply "No, just played too much Alien: Isolation" .

We need a new thread by the sound of it - games we've bought and hope to play before we die .  Gave it a quick Google and looks interesting, reminds me of a game that popped up through PS+ on Vita a whiles back that I can't recall the name of right now, but was a bit similar (not exactly, less combat and more running and hiding).

Well it's a point and click survival with turn based combat. I only had one go of it and died but you only get one life to get down to ground floor (there's a hundred floors). It costs you one hunger point each room/floor you visit and you've only got 100 of those, plus you've gotta balance you're fatigue as well. Crafting is a big thing, but I only got to build a mop. lol

Anyway - I also bought Wolfenstein The New Order. Been meaning to play it, finally found it for $10. Shadow of Mordor is another I've been searching for on the cheap.

Got it from G2A - but only use Paypal on that site... I reckon it's a bit dodgy. Make sure the person has a 5 star (100%) rating with massive sales, then don't use that shield thingy.

thanks gc but looks like you got lucky on that one.

started bioshock 2 last night.  i've finished it before on PS3 but it just doesn't feel 'fun' this time round.  i dunno the whole character i'm playing just feels really sluggish & everything a bit of a chore.  sure it looks nicer (still basic) but it just isn't drawing me in.  i know my first play through was nothing special but thinking i will actually not enjoy this one at all.  was hoping it'd see me until fallout 4.

Thought about this as i saw a clip of some dude playing a horror game with that Virtual reality whatever it is thing they're making haha.
I can forsee alot of this in the future with VR and horror games, hospitals could go as far as having their own "Gamers ward" for players who've see some shit haha.

Playing Metal Gear Solid 2 from the HD collection since Ive been lent a copy of it.
Played through the story once. I do feel the controls haven't aged well at all compared to what's out it definitely does feel it's age control wise. Gameplay wise it's closer to today only a few things missing like better level traversal but things like hold ups and dragging bodies and cover all help it feel not that old from what you can do in the game wise.
I've never played any of the others so I didn't much know what was happening being a popular series I do know of the characters and I think the game did enough to help bring up some things from MGS1 so I could understand better. I did get a bit of a laugh finally getting to see how cutscene heavy it is and apart from one time when I really wanted to save I didn't mind it too much. I enjoyed the story out thereness with it all and how it evolved and changed as the game went on.

I was going to give the plat a go and decided to give the VR missions a go before going through the story several times for more dog tags but got stuck on snakes variety 4 mission, the sensitivity is just far too much for me to be able to remotely snipe well with, it is annoying there is no way to turn it down. As such I won't bother with the dog tags and just move onto Metal Gear Soild 3.

Overal I can easily see why it was highly rated back at its original release date.

I saw the it(MGS3 in the collection) has Metal Gear 1 and 2 in it. So I gave 1 a go, got as far as the machine kid I think it was but that was it for me. After a few restarts of that section, the shooting is just too anceint for me, I can't hit anything, I was cool with it, punching everything till shooting became a bit more prevalent.
