Still playing ESO (and likely will be for months) but took a break from my 'usual' strategy games to have a tilt at Homeland Remastered, and it's very good. It's a little buggy, but nothing game-breaking, and the gameplay holds up very well. The only thing against it is that it's got an odd difficulty arrangement - there are no difficulty settings, but there's a certain point at which the strength of your fleet means the opposition's fleet gets much, much stronger. However, the game doesn't actually tell you this..... So after I struggled (I 'just got by', but thought my fleet too weak to get through the next mission) in the first half of mission eight, I went back to my 'end of mission 7' save and built up a stronger fleet, only to go into mission eight again and get absolutely flattened. So while the core gameplay is great, the idea that you need to go to a walkthrough to get an idea of a fleet strength that'll give you a 'normal' difficulty is a bit crazy imo, and punishing players for managing resources well (without telling them they'll be punished) is also odd design.
In short, I'd recommend a walkthrough for the game, particularly after mission 7 (but earlier if you get a strong enough fleet for it to gank you before then

). It's not the kind of game a walkthrough would spoil, as you'll still need to be organising all your ships through the mission and the like, and it is more of a 'real-time puzzle' than a 'real-time strategy' game, in that there tends to be only one or two 'right' ways to play, so a walkthrough will also cut back on the trial-and-error built into the game design

. I definitely recommend giving it a look, it's unquestionably a classic, but recommend going in 'informed'

.
