Good luck for the last bit of the comp :).

Well I tried but couldn't improve anymore - came mighty close (thousandths in it for sure). When I'm chasing my ghost, I know where I can do better - I catch up considerably, but then there's the other corners the ghost does better. So I basically need to mash them good ones all together... that's the difficulty.

If I was really good I'd have to be consistent. I've done 100s of laps to get where I am. A real race driver just hops in the car and does it over and over again.

Cheers for the heads-up Clowny, looks very good indeed B).  A bit quick for me these days though, so probably will need to leave this to gamers with faster reaction times.  Hope it does well :).

Bought Grey Goo for 5 bucks. Haven't played it yet... anyone else played it? From memory it was supposed to be pretty good?

^I have it. Played it a little didn't really gel with me. I pretty much play RTS on easy so I can just screw around, not have to get good and go at my own pace, so I like slower paced one, with defenses and such. I struggle to compete with the easy A.I. in Grey Goo since it seems more like Starcraft where I would have  to start producing units quickly and keep producing them.

So not really my type of RTS I will go through the campaign one day though but it wont get too much out of me in skirmish.

Quality game, that Splinter Cell, cheers for the heads-up Spec B).  Suspect the controls may not have aged as gracefully as the rest of the game, but I'd bet it's still worth a look-in.

Looks awesome! Pity I'm too slow (these days) to play it...

Throw this here too... played the original which was 'okay'... this looks totally different and has a lot of potential.

Yeah - just had a look at that... looks interesting.

Bought Shadow of Mordor the other day for around $7.50 with all the DLC, decided to download it last night... funny thing is though, probably won't play it... it's just like that these days... buy a game because it's something I wanted to play for ages and it's really cheap but never fucking play it. The only thing I can play these days is racing games because they're so easy to put down - do a couple of laps (or until my heart's content), then turn it off and come back to it whenever without worrying about story and remembering where I'm up to.

Sucks though - I really do want to play all those other games but my mind is too focused on other things unfortunately.

Another great game I've got that I'll never play.

Paradox Interactive

Greetings everyone!
One thing we really value here at Paradox is customer feedback and that's why we are happy to share our latest survey with you all! This time it focuses on re-playability in role-playing games and we'd be tremendously grateful if you would take the time to fill it out! As always we also have a short FAQ!

How long will the survey take?
Around 15-20 minutes.

Who is this survey aimed towards?
Gamers well versed in the ways of role-playing games, preferably with extensive experience in a multitude of different games (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate etc).

What is the purpose of the survey?
We are interested in learning more about our customers expectations, experiences and other similar things in regards to role-playing games and their re-playability.

Will I be compensated?
No, there will be no prize for participating in the survey other than our eternal gratitude and virtual high-fives!

Will we share this with anyone else?
No, the survey results are for us only, nothing of what you enter will be shared with anyone outside of Paradox.

If you have any questions, concerns, comments etc feel free to ask away here in the thread and we will do our very best to answer you as best we can!

From all of us here at Paradox: thank you for being awesome!

-:Take the survey:-

Graph's been smashing the turn-based strategy games, am sure he'll swing by with a recommendation before too long :).  If you don't mind WW2, I'd recommend Panzer Corps - turn based and fairly easy on resources, and enjoyable - it's more wargame than RPG turn-based strat though.

Try this game Saints...

Maybe have a look at some YouTube vids first to see if you like it. I've got it and I really enjoy it. Highly rated as well and you don't need a powerful PC to run it.

Not quite the uPlay thread - but Rayman Origins for free on the 17th (probably US time as I've already checked and it's not there yet). Awesome game, played both (this and Legends) and loved 'em.
