Bioshock to iOS.  Doesn't look too bad considering what it's on.

Hitman GO
Pretty good puzzle game. I like the model diagram design it suited it well and apart from aliasing looks good.
Quite a few levels with different powerups and enemies getting introduced at a good pace.

Deus Ex: The Fall
Not too bad. Ends abruptly when you think there is going to be on final area/level with a to be continued.
It gave me several hours of playtime.
It has one main hub location for you to roam about in, the levels each have multiple paths through doors and vents so you do have options with how you approach your travesal through them.
I stuck to stealth to avoid having to aim using the touch controls in any heated firefights and it worked but virtual joysticks will always be the downpoint in touch controls. Hacking suited the touch controls very well of course capturing multiple nodes was quick and simple.

I got both games for free through ign prime. I would not recommend the PC version of Deus Ex: The Fall unless your a mega fan of the serious and want some more world lore and if you can get it quite cheap the PC port from what I've read doesn't seem to be that good. Id also recommend waiting for it to be cheaper on iOS as well mainly because it doesn't have an actual ending.

I would recommend Hitman GO it at a cheaper price(Currently $6.49) I was tempted to buy it a while back for $1.29 and I would've been happy with that purchase but having so many games from prime already I figured I'd go on sale again so no rush to pick it up and I got lucky and it went on prime.

Cheers for the info Spec, two mobile games I had half an interest in - reckon I'll probably pass on Deus Ex (or at least play it on PC), as virtual joysticks and me don't get along, but Hitman Go looks like a rare winner for the platform :D.

Meant to post this a few days ago.

I have mainly going through my iOS games that I have the iPad versions of since I have a bunch that I've gotten free.

Still mainly playing Love Live though.

Went back to Micromon to see the new area update a while back added. The new area was tiny before another teaser appeared so that was a short visit. Did take a bit of time though since I had to go back to each area and collect something to unlock the new area.

Also went back to Clash of Heroes. Got up the last boss a good while ago but raged myself out against the boss and didn't return till recently. Finally managed to get through it with some persistence.
It was good overall the story mode lasted me around 30hours so plenty of game time available and there is multiplayer online and off(, well worth the .99c I grabbed it for. Also on on PC on steam.
For something new I downloaded Walking Dead Assault that I got free through IGN a while back.
It's loosely based on the first volume of the comic books, people familiar would notice some familiar areas.

Started off well, looks nice, camera is full rotatable and zoomable, controls are simple but work(You can setup formations to move in, in a pinch), but each level was same old same in that to finish the level you had to kill all the walkers. I would've loved a mix up of the main goal to finish the level just to give some variety. There are optional objectives like protect people or don't use distractions or special abilities.
It has several unlock able characters and has an upgradable stats to give a sense of progression, weapons for each character are locked though, A Main(A ranged or Melee weapon depending on character) and a Melee attack.

A full play through on easy and a few simple achievement hunting was enough for me. Higher difficulty play throughs weren't appealing, since it would just be the same old same old killing all the waters.

It's quite a polished looking app though. It has exclusive art to unlock and trivia of the comics.
It did have at least two more chapters planned to be added though since you can see them in a coming soon section but by the looks of things I'd say that ain't happening given the time frame that's passed.

Unsure what to give a look into next nothing much is jumping out at me in my list. Might look into Horn or Lili

Nice one Spec :).  That character art is straight from (or at least based very heavily on) the early TWD comics B).

Decided to give Mirrors Edge a go once again. Gave up on it on iPod since it got stuck somewhere and couldn't be bothered anymore. Got past that bit only to get stuck somewhere a bit after combine that with it not wanting to save because not enough space and that was a short revisit. Another game I picked up when it was free so I don't much care.

Moved onto Batman Arkham City Lockdown. Looks fairly good, nice and polished looking app. Has upgrades to give so progression, bios and several skins that need actual money to unlock.
Didn't get far into it before I quit. Plays a bit Similarly to Infinity blade, you can dodge, deflect and do combos. But in the short time I played the amount of times Batman would toss a punch out instead of a dodge just happened to often and since when you die you go back to the start of the level just turned me off it. Did have a read through some reviews and saw a few others also mention this, but again i picked it up for free through IGN so don't care much about quoting it early.

Decided to re download some(Outernauts, Dragon Coins, AngryBirds Epic, Plants Vs Zombies 2) of my previous f2p based games to see how/if they have evolved and whether they might drag me back in.

Outernauts just reminded me why I quit in the first place, just too much downtime later waiting on and having to fiddle with fusing, and such to level beasts while not gimping their final stats. Or you could just pony up the cash to brute force beast stats and not worry about it. To do the arena you definitely have to do this to get beats strong enough to get through the first level let alone when they all go to the next level.
Dragon coins didn't do much either just lost its allure what ever it was when I was into it.
Angry Birds added a arena thing which doesn't zing with me enough to pull me back in.
Got a bit of playtime out of PvZ2 but only a bit. Went back to and older world and completed but when I went back to my most recent world I was quickly reminded why I quit it last time.

Have Minigore 2, Badlands(Coming to steam), Lili(Also on steam) and Horn DL'd to try next now, think I've got all of them through IGN not sure but I know they were all free.

Hey Rimid, thanks for posting.  There's only a need for one post, though, so I've removed your other.  I'm not really into mobile gaming myself, but best of luck for your new game :).

Grabbed Implosion - Never Lose Hope for iOS for $6.49 since its on sale for half-price till the 10th for reaching 3 million downloads, it is also on android free2play for the first 6 missions before needing to pay to unlock the rest.

    IMPLOSION Opening trailer

Was interested in it when it launched since its a high quality looking game but $12 was a bit much for me with out being able to have an hands on but at 50% its cheap enough to get me to give it ago.

I've managed to play the first chapter which consists of 8 levels.

It's not too bad, controls seem to work well so far. Gameplay is simple enough to just slash or shoot, main thing so far even though I've only died twice is just learning to dodge well, so reading the enemy and not being mid attack when you want to dodge.

Quite a lot of voiced dialogue so far as well, it has cut scenes that are like a comic book with a little animation.

Missions seem to be taking me around 3-5 minutes on my first run just mainly linear levels. Missions are simple so far just follow the path and kill what's there, there are some secret rooms in some levels though and a few have a different perspective.

There are several badges for each mission, collecting enough them will grant you unlocks and even another character later.

You do level up stats a distributed for you but there is a shop to buy stat modifiers and a different special ability so you have some freedom to build how you want to.

So I'd so far it's going good. I kinda get the vibe from it that its like a mini version of a larger PC/Console game which will help justify the greater price I paid for it over other games.

Finished Implosion - Never Lose Hope and it turned into a bit of a chore to do so. Putting it bluntly if it didn't have the generous revive system(Re-spawn 5 times where you died) I wouldn't have pushed through to finish it. For me the main thing was it just stopped being fun, enemies just started taking too long to go down. Like most mobile games the gameplay stays the same throughout the game and little changes so how well you get on with the gameplay is an important thing to how long you will get enjoyment out of it.

It is a high quality game otherwise though you can see it has high production values, I did play enough to unlock the extra character and she just isn't a skin or anything but plays a bit differently but most notable when replaying levels gets her own voiced lines.

So overall it started off enjoyable but I guess the gameplay didn't click with me enough for it to stay enjoyable as the difficulty went up. Even though I don't seem to have any great feelings of regret getting it, though I think that $6.49(less since I only grab cards at least 15% off) is my upper limit for app purchases.
