So managed to get to have a good play of this and finish the main story. You play as Randall Enzo, I don't remember coming across this name in the Mass Effect universe so I didn't get anything out of the story and it was uneventful for me, and I was surprised when it ended it felt like the half-way point not the end.
It's not bad for a cover based shooter on a touch screen but does suffer from limited mobility of your character. A couple of the boss fights really showed this up when having to run away and reposition.
The shooting is done by selecting a target within range(based on the weapon) and the game automatically shoots(bar the sniper) and jumps the aim to them which you then make fine adjustment to hit them or hit weak spots. You can shoot indefinitely by timing a cool down cancel.
The game has some replay ability in upgrade able weapons/abilities to help you get 3 stars on all battles.
The chapter select is done really well, letting you select from each chapter and then the chapters individual battle areas showing your rating for each one.
It has crashed several times late in and almost made me give up playing the main story, but has prevented from finishing the smaller bonus mission so far, I couldn't be bothered trying to get through it.
It was only 99c so I'm not too regretful of the purchase I just had higher hopes from the story.
