Interesting info there Spec :).  Not sure if EA's catalogue is deep enough to support this kind of thing though, at least for my tastes, will be interesting to see how it pans out (and whether we'll see EA's no longer turn up on Games with Gold/PS+ in the future).  Can't say I'd be keen on paying multiple gaming subscriptions though, at least for the same system.

be ok for a month ... until you realise you have paid for 12 months & still have to pay extra for games that aren't in the monthly bundle.  actually it sounds down right retarded lol.

There's the 10% discount for their digital games and DLC though, which means that games from EA on the Xbox One would appear cheaper than on the PS4. It could add up if you want to buy a lot of EA published games digitally, although apparently the discount doesn't apply to games that are on sale. Seems a bit like PS Plus to me on a smaller scale (and not as necessary).

Sony: EA Access Doesn't 'Represent Good Value To The PlayStation Gamer'

Quote

“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” a Sony representative told us via email. “PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”

Aye, there's deffo value for fans of EA's games CAD :).  I'm not a huge fan of either BF4 or FIFA (I prefer different shooters and PES) so this kind of sub would never do it for me.  Interesting Sony knocked it back though, given they've tended to be more open with business practices and whatnot, suspect there might be a bit more going on behind the scenes...

I'm deffo interest in the look of PS Now, but depends a lot on how well it works vis-a-vis local processing.  Either way, a whiles before it pops up in these technologically challenged parts ;).

So has much been added to the vault yet?
I like a few EA shooters (BF, MOH, Deadspace, Army of Two etc).
But seeing as i already own bf4 w/premium and Hardline looks shite.....personally i cant justify it. Sports games are not my thing....FIFAs ok but im fine to by a few years later for $5
