Hmm... Interesting. I don't remember it being particularly difficult.

Played some Counter Spy. Not a bad little game. Love the art style. Also played a little GTA V. Damn that game looks bad on last gen. When it came out it was 'amazing', now it looks like trash.

Technically speaking, its visual appearance hasn't changed, we're just all fussier now that we've moved onto the current gen :P.

Finally finished my game of EU4 and started up some Cities: Skylines, and early impressions very good :).  Only played a couple of hours, which isn't near enough to have a good 'feel' for this kind of game, but so far have been very impressed by the UI, the visuals (for a city-builder, it's no The Order, but nor should it need to be) and, most importantly, the simulation B).

Yeah of course. Just from a subjective point of view it has gone from amazing to meh in the like the space of a year.

played witcher 2 again last night, was at that part mentioned earlier against the muscly witcher & way out of my depth.  stuck with it anyway & managed to beat him, took a couple hours though, once again was like dark souls, stafe, roll, strafe, roll, stun, stab, repeat over & over.  2 hits was death for me.

moved to a new area, started as some king guy but switched it off, hopefully play again tonight & level up ffs.

Got a good track list of music playing in Truck Simulator... for the ultimate realism/immersion you can stream radio stations from different countries in the game. Havin' a truckin' good time might I add...

That's way cool!  Keep on truckin' B).

Been playing through Ironclad tactics when not building cities (which is still great, the depth of the simulation is impressive :)), and it's not a bad game, but the introduction of playing fields with obstacles, on top of the randomness you get from a card drawing game, means that you can start a decent proportion of matches with no hope of winning because your opponent happens to draw better than you, which makes it a bit trial-and-error-ey.  Am impressed with the polish, art design, UI and style, the core gameplay is just a bit random for me., but not so much I'm not happily playing through :).

Played some Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae. It's pretty good. My main criticisms are one; inconsistent framerate. (It's a demo of a game, who knows how far away, so fps should be fixable by the time the actual game comes out) and two; so far I've found the combat can be a bit hectic and that makes it hard to know when to attack or defend as anything can hit you from any direction. Some people have said they don't like the music but from what I've heard, I like it.

Also there is a Japanese language track. Thank lord.

Played probably my worst game of Monopoly (PS4) last night when Drags beat Doomy, Radi and myself with basically only three orange properties to his name. And it was totally my fault because I sold him the one he needed to complete the set and he proceeded to build hotels straight away.... which we all seemed to land on too often, haha. I have since learnt to not feel sorry for other players in Monopoly ;).

Haha, damn straight, there's no room for giving quarter in a game of Monopoly, that's a cut-throat stage if ever there was one ;).

Had a meander through some a couple of PS+ titles that I never expected to do more than glance at - Injustice: Gods Among Us looked pretty good, but was wayyyy too fast.  I did think it kind of poetic that I couldn't make it past the Batman vs Deathstroke battle in single-player mode - that's two games now where I haven't been able to progress past Deathstroke, lol.  Also had a look at The Swapper and it looks like a great puzzle-platformer (I see why you were so excited about it Clowny B))., but about half hour or so in the puzzles got beyond my grey matter.

how good is witcher 2 ?  the story has me, the combat has me (although a little repetitive) & the choices you make really do impact the game (unlike most games like this where you can just skim through the dialgue & click anything).

got a bug atm though, if i die, i go to load last save & it crashes back to steam/windows.  game won't relaunch without reboot & it's pretty annoying :/

So you're saying you want to bow out otherwise you'll need to start again? In answer - it's one of the best RPGs ever.

Haha, there's a reason I'll keep bugging people to play the Witcher games, after I played them I became a convert, they're tops, definitely top-drawer B).  Commiserations about the bug, hope it sorts itself out as soon as possible.
