WHAT'S DW8 ???? AM I THAT OUT OF THE LOOP ???

The first Dynasty Warriors was released in 1997 (although the first game that was really along the lines of what it is now, didn't come until 2000 (or so Wikipedia tells me ;)), so you're only around 13 years behind the curve :P.  Was biggish in the early days of the PS2, iirc.  Noting I can't remember last week, so the odds of me rc'ing may not be that high .

Dead island riptide: Still havent fixed most of the bugs/glitches from the first one unfortunatly :(
Still entertaining to play though.

Only on DI can i be an asian, whose a blade expert (Racist right?) and just sadistically chop body parts off and laugh as they flop on the floor haha >:D

Crap in general haha! It's still the same shit the first one was, but i kinda enjoyed so this was on my "play whenever" list lol.
Wouldnt be surprised if Co-op is still broken let alone know anyone who still has it.

It is a shame though, the devs couldve made this such a great game to play, but it seems they need much more EXP developing games or they're just money hungry cod rejects hahaha

Well, i would never recommend it. Play main missions only, you're looking at maybe a 2 hour SP, roughly 4hr total for all side missions unless ive missed are vital location full of survivors. Not even 1/3 of the playtime of the first game, side quests and even main quests are basically just pro-longed search and retrive missions.

Everything that sucked in the first one was twice as bad in this one. Zombies seem way unbalanced, as are weapons and abilities. Frame rate issues still bad, as are graphics and animations. Surprised AI was as smart as it was haha. It has so much potential to be such a great zombie game, just a shame they can't do it :(

And worst of all, the ending was worse than Promethous's ending.. Yes i know, something worse than that, hard to believe aye.

Well that just made it an instant pass!  The Dead Island games are why I'm not getting too excited for Dying Light so far (it's made by the same devs) - they're very good at making a game look good, but the actual game is no-where as flash.  They're not bad, but if they can make Dying Light as good as it's looking, it will be their best game, ever, by some margin.

Yeah - I'm not falling for that old jedi trailer trick. I remember the Dead Island trailer was awesome.

Yeah i'd say the trailers were the only thing that brought the money in for them. I remember with the first DI trailer came out, was making headlines world over with its emotional touch to it haha.

Needless to say that it wouldnt be difficult for Dying light to outdo DI, but i wouldnt hold my breathe. It wouldnt surprise me if some of the big problems/glitches/bugs will follow over to the new game, but who knows. Maybe they'll step up their game with new gen consoles and bring out something awesome

I started Ni No Kuni last week and I love it, haha. All the news about the second Kingdom Hearts ReMIX made me feel like playing a classic JRPG :D. The game started off a little slow at first, especially combat-wise but then they introduced the active Pokemon-like battle gameplay and it was awesome. I like the exploration in the towns, open world and dungeons (feels like Dragon Quest VIII to me), how simple it is to understand the story and the fact that they don't have random encounters when fighting enemies. The enemies and locations have cute names too ;).

Also tried out Dynasty Warriors 8 online co-op with Saints yesterday and that was heaps of fun. In the Story Mode, both of us were still choosing from a few set characters to use, and it was pretty straightforward and a lot faster since we both split up to defeat all of the enemy officers and complete the various objectives. Even Lu Bu, haha! Well, Saintsy did those scary parts :D.

Saints always came to the rescue with his extremely OP weapons in the harder levels too, haha. Ambition Mode was great for co-op too: shorter bursts of missions with increasing difficulty multipliers, then both of us heading back to the Main Camp for short breaks and upgrades. We hammered it for several hours straight and it still didn't feel like too much (except on the eyes, probably) :P.

God damn Lu bu lol, took a single Triangle to the face and i lost half my health haha! Though on Xiapi Castle he becomes a little bitch and dies rather easily :/
I honestly wasnt expecting the online aspect of the game to be so brilliant haha! Only thing i can pick at is in Story mode, there's 2 of whatever officer i choose to play lol. Though in one of the missions that came in handy as we did the optional mission and saved him(Character i was playing) so that worked out well lol

It is good fun, and there isn''t much grinding to it until the post game stuff.

the art and sound is top notch though, just wish there were more cut scenes.

Awesome Live - if you like that you should try watching some Studio Ghibli films... if you haven't already. Following are a couple Miyazaki (directed) films:

I think I have played enough of Remember Me to have a get a good enough overal impression from it.

Design/style and presentation are nice, the platforming is so reminiscent of Uncharted which I don't mind. The checkpoints are forgiving for progress which is nice but not for collectibles which is annoying. So far I think it has struck a good balance between combat and platforming.

The combat, I think it sucks coming from Rocksteady's Batman series combat system this just has no flow for me you can't chain combos between enemies, so if you defeat an enemy there goes you current combo, want to swap enemies mid way through a combo too bad.  I am halfway through the game and I have 3 (3,5,6 button) combos if I want to change them I have to pause the game to do so, each combo is the exact same button presses regardless of what you pressens you assign to it. Some more combos would be very welcome, with different combos of square and triangle.

The dodge, dodging a group of enemies and projectiles just doesn't seem to work well usually ending up in me being hit by something, add to this that I have the upmost trouble keeping combos going after dodging, since if you dodge at the wrong time combo breaks dodge over, anything but over enemies combo breaks.

The spammer likes to lock on to enemies I don't want it to, which is annoying when trying take out specific high proiority target to make dodging or combat easier.

Sounds like the combat could have used a bit more polish. Would you rate it a decent first entry into a potential series, or not quite there?

For me its not quite there because of the combat. It has everything else there so it has potential, my main issue is you can only focus on 1 enemy you get crowed by others, I think it's done to get you to use s-pressens of course.

The only way I would consider any future entries into the series would be if they change the combo system just so you could continue combos between enemies and also continuing after dodging easier.

Edit:
Completely forgot but the camera can be really annoying when fighting in keeper track of everyone and also with dodging charges and projectiles.

Battlefield 3 PC, confusing.

Why you open chrome when I press play for? I just want to play the campaign.
Took me 3 presses of play to realise that the tabs up top on the browser page actually start the game.
