finally got a few aussie games today, 1 or 2 of them i hosted too.  completely different game playing on par with the other players, it's really smooth & far more rewarding.  unfortunately those games are far too few & i would've already turfed it if it wasn't for the upcoming tournament here.

been off the radar with music stuff.

I hear ya graph, unless we squad up, when I play solo I get laggy as hell players I just cant hit.  lept on for a bit last night, even squadded up, we had a few players I would put 6 revolver shots into at real close range, not one hit marker.   melee a guy with spiked club, game pauses, and said guy turns and hits me instead.

def need region locking in next patch of DLC, the finder currently looks for close n optimal games, but then goes global, so just give us those options explicitly.

Has anyone noticed the hearing capabilities of the infected can be quite inconsistent? Sometimes they can hear like a bat and other times you can let off a molotov in the middle of the room and nothing.

i found that when trying to attract multiple of them to the one place (ie. throw a glass bottle, get them to go there & then hit the lot of them with a molotov).  was pretty frustrating when it didn't work when it should've.

I started to notice a lot of inconsistencies and glitches on my second play through... they weren't as noticeable in the first run probably because I was so engrossed in it. It's definitely not a perfect game but what game is? The AI I didn't have a problem with because I usually played stealth, either avoiding them altogether or just stabbing them from behind to clear the path. I hardly ever threw a molotov unless absolutely necessary... always had 3 of everything in my backpack.

I found it a lot more noticeable on survivor when in some areas, because of lack of gear, you needed the infected to hear bombs and things to get them to move to a another part of the level.

Yeah - I only played a bit of survivor (first couple levels) as I ended up getting Tomb Raider, Hitman and The Walking Dead, which I'm still to play.

EB are advertising to try and get people to trade in their copies of 'The Last of Us'. Hmm... I wonder why?

I'd tip better margins on the traded copies than the new ones, but if retail want to retain the support of the platform holders and big publishers, seems a funny way to go about it!  Been playing more of the online though, and reckon it's tops, wouldn't trade this one even if I had finished the SP (which I haven't started yet, but will, really looking forward to it but finishing off what I'm playing first).

No comment ;).  I just like to play one 'story' at a time (not counting Vita, as I tend to drop in and out of things on that), and started AC:R first.  I'm sure TLoU will be freakin' excellent when I play it, and it will be soon (although possibly after Spec Ops as well, just to further underline my insanity, lol).  Am being careful to avoid spoiler material as well.

Haha, good luck Smokey!  It used to be easy when there weren't as many top notch games.  Now we have to be a bit pickier, the tyranny of choice!

Started Last of Us single-player on Sunday, and playing an hour or two a day - it's freakin' awesome!  Incredibly well done, it is - the first 2-3 hours are exceptional :D.  Not that you don't all know this already ;).

Haha, not finished, although I'm sad every time I save (which I'm doing manually every half hour or so - I'm sure they've probably fixed it by now, but better safe than sorry) and see that I've done however many % (25 so far) - I don't want it to end!)
