Final Fantasy X HD is still in the making on the PlayStation 3 (and will be on Vita too)! :D Originally published on the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X was one of the most inspiring and well-known RPG's for its generation with its innovative spin on the traditional turn-based gameplay with a beautiful story and a great cast of memorable characters.

Final Fantasy X continues to be one of the most loved and defining titles of the Final Fantasy series so it is easy to see why so many fans have requested a release on the PlayStation 3 system as well. There is still no release date yet but this confirmation will be sure to keep fans happy and excited till then.

Thanks Ati :D. Yeah, FFX was great (it's my favourite FF along side FFVII Crisis Core on the PSP) and X-2 was really fun to play too. I was getting a bit tired of looking at the old, bright orange avatar so here's the new and blue Tidus! *Insert crazy Tidus laugh from above*
FFX was by far one the the best FF games out there and my fav out of them all not just coz it had the manlyness of Jecht and Auron good music as well the matched the games tone like Jechts manly boss theme
And also the song on the road though Zanarkand ruins had a very sorrow like feel to it Here you are at the end having not not long learnt that Yuna will die soon

Yeah likewise mate - as good as VII and VIII were for their time X is the best. Loved it and treasure it! Hope FF comes back up to the forefront again next gen. This gen it sucked unfortunately.

Yeah, Jecht and Auron really were no-nonsense, tough guys haha. My brother loved using Jecht in Dissidia and beating up everyone with his bare fists and combos.

"Someday the Dream Will End" is one my favourite songs as well and I still listen to it on youtube once in a while. I remember going back to the Zanarkand Ruins sometimes in the game just to listen to the music, even though it was a sad feeling.

Can't wait for the HD remake :D

I was unhappy when you found out the truth about Auron.

Trying to fill out the sphere grid to do battle Dark Yojimbo was fun, and also versing the Earth Eater and Dark Shinryu at the battle arena grinding items and the blitzball, but not the lighting dodge game I gave up it was too hard.

Yeah that, Penance and Nemesis, I never did, I was power levelling my characters on PS3 but I finally started getting games and didn't go back to it. I can't even remember if I got that save off my PS3 or I lost the extra hours, but I was able to go through Dark Yojimbo 5 battles or so quite easliy.

Because of this FFX talk I have had to get it out have have a look at my characters.

Went to turn it on by hitting the Aanalog button, wait, analog button I don't remember you.
And the controller feels so light and my tray still rattles like it used to.

I remember the butterfly mini-game in Macalania Woods could be maddening too, haha :kratos:.

I liked Final Fantasy 12. It took a little bit of getting used to, but the mix of real-time and turn-based battle gameplay was fun and different. The Gambit/AI Tactics system was good to plan and play around with too.

Didn't end up playing FF13 much though, but my brother enjoyed it a lot and got the platinum trophies for this and its sequel too. (Actually, he said he forced himself to platinum FF13-2 lol).

I liked 12 as well, I really enjoyed the environments in it and how they connected on the world map. The gambit system was good when you found a set-up that was self-reliant on it own, plus it was the last one to have giant bosses like Yizamat. I wouldn't mind returning to that  world.

Rumours popping up once again that X-2 will be bundled on the disc along with X. Didn't mind X-2 the whole 100% thing was interesting even though I never got it thanks to that 100 floor tower thing.

That'd be pretty cool. I only got to about 60-70% completion and I remember some of the classes took ages to master (like the Alchemist lol), but it was fun to do.

I remember using the Unwavering dress grid to quickly get their unique dress thing out. Songstress dress took a while as well, but even with all that and level 99 characters I din't even bother trying the 100 floor trails after failing a couple of times. Plus it had several interesting long side missions.

Lol, I gave up after a certain point too - probably some time when big bosses started walking around like normal enemies and killed the whole party in one or two hits . It was called the Cloister Trials or something, right? Or maybe that was just for the Aeons for FFX, hehe.

I think I mainly used a 'Salvation' healing grid (can't remember exactly) so I could use white mage abilities for other classes. My favourite classes were the Beserker and Alchemists. Mages were cool too :D.
