yeah that's a G5 gc, one of the macs i had that i ended up having a bit of an emotional attachment to (she's gone now though).  after buying it i maxed out everything except the ram (which iirc could go to 32gb, which was MASSIVE back then & would've cost thousands).  i also had a modded radeon pc card in it to run the 2 screens.

in one of the photos where you can see benches in the background you can see a G4 quicksilver & next to that is a G4 mirror drive door which are both still in that spot in retirement.  the quicksilver is still 100% fine, but the MDD has a stuffed power supply.  it's maxed out with crap though, 4 hdds, modded pc dual head video card, massive fan mod ready to be hardware overclocked but i never had the balls to do it.  the G5's been sold & nowadays i just use a macbook pro with an external 24" screen when i'm at the desk.  the epson printer in those photos is gone too now & has been replaced with a new model epson (which isn't using an external ink system atm but i think i'll have to return to one, it's way too thirsty).

Yeah mate - the blue G3's were great too... G4's and G5's were the best. Gone are the days. Completely understand the attachment. I'm yet to get myself a Mac Pro for work at home... but this iMac is doing just fine for the stuff I'm doing on it.

My parents were one of the first studios in Australia to have computers in the late 80's. A rig would cost  around 30K and they were only good for typesetting.

They had 6 rigs at one stage... networked. In the mid 90's, on the weekend we used to sneak in there and play Marathon.

Networked PCs back then were awesome B).  I remember when I started work in '99, you could still play Quake at launch across the network at work (Public Service) - they shut it down not long after that though.  Anyways, main reason for this post is to say "Great recliner Graph B)".

Sony Bravia LED 55" with the PS3 hooked up. Spot for the PS4 ready to go. There's a HDMI swtich hooked up so I can play the PS3 on the PC monitor if I want (mainly for when the girlfriend takes over).
Some dipshit taking a photo.

Custom PC rig, gets the job done, was running BF3 on Ultra at 68FPS but it still couldn't touch The Witcher 2.
3DS with Pokemon Y (the only 3DS game I've played on it).
Typical motorcycle magazines around.
360 controller connected to the PC.
Astro A40's.

The collection of games and Blu-rays.
Stargate collection :D .

Also featured is the motorcycle helmet graveyard.

Plenty of room for the PS4 as well Straussy! (you know you will get one )
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee."   Jules Winnfield
