@ Drags - 5.25"  floppies? Awesome B).  C64 also awesome, I remember playing that as a kid, was heaps fun :D.

@ Spectre - awesome organisation/layout, and an all-quality game/movie collection to boot B).  After Drags and me, it definitely adds balance tot his thread, lol.

Finally, somebody that actually knows how to neatly wire something up with cable ties. haha.

Haha - you aiming that at anyone in particular? :P.  You should see the part of the desk out of shot - only the 'clean' bit is shown here...

Nice one Graph B).  I think you can still get some of your data back from a back-up, or could once.  It's been a long time, but when I traded in my old 60GB, I backed up then restored on a new machine, and got all of my non-locked saves, as well as music and vids over, I think.  Was a few years ago now, though, and my memory's not so flash ;).

Here's my uber-slick setup (/srcsm ;)).  We've got a storage/spare room, and if you look carefully at the corners you'll see the non-stick frypan and stainless-steel frypans next to my wireless wheel (a good step down from Graph's rather awesome setup B)), and behind the wireless wheel is the bottom of the Hotas T-flight stick that works great with BIRDS OF STEEL!  Pile of 'games to play' and 'frequently played games' is sitting on top of PC. New Xbox currently has pride of place, and PS3 is sitting on Atlas of the 20th Century, to help with ventilation and to give it a sense of history.  Backup headphone charge stand is at front-left.

Window is normally open if day, but closed as it messed with the exposure - nice view of trees, and sometimes some rosellas sit outside and look rosella-ey.

lol - actually $4.05, change from the shops the other day ;).  It's gone into the small change pile now, but I was knackered after the trip in, so just emptied my pockets and crashed into the recliner that's outside of the pic ;).

All of you except Spectre. Wire everywhere... simple cable ties and 5-10 minutes of your time will do the trick... lazy buggers. :P

Actually, my damn 360 'charge and play' cable sprung up in front of the bottom of the TV the other day - was forced to sit up and rearrange it (after about an hour of playing, lol).  But still no cable ties Clowny :P.

Yeah this is why PS3 is better than Xbox - PS3 cables dont get in your way when playing games.

amazed we don't have this thread already !  well i'll go first with my presently really messy & really dusty corner;

Attachment P1010182.JPG

above is;
• 1tb ps3 slim
• 4gb xbox 360 slim
• 2x razor onza tournament controllers
• few sony ds3s
• xbox & ps3 into switch box using monster braided component cables then into hauppage hd pvr > sony 42" bravia for picture
• xbox & ps3 into optical splitter > hauppage hd pvr > tritton ax-pros for sound
• 1tb back up drive (which is pretty well a waste of time if you have a ps3 failure as you can't use your backed up data on a replacement console, good one sony)
• yamaha 6.1 dts/5.1 dolby surround sound + yamaha dvd player
• 2 of my biggest fans, one of which no longer turns but i cbf'd chasing the cord back to pitch it lol
• leather recliner

Attachment P1010183.JPG

that's a logitech g27 racing rig i built when playing/competing on gt5.  now it sits under a sheet to try & hold off some of the dust :/

might post up the rest of the office someday but currently it's a mess after the silly season.

Axe, I want your Racing chair set-up haha

That's Graph you should be stalking (and you should be, it's a slick set-up B)) - my 'racing chair' is a comfortable armchair recliner :D

I wouldn't feel too awkward... I'd take Axe's well moulded recliner over Graphs racing setup any day. :P

that racing seat comes into its own when competing or doing endurance races.  really frustrating i can't use the G27 with the xbox, or that GT5 died off in my group of friends so quickly.

yeah built it using some steel i had & a racing seat off ebay.  originally it had the GT5 wheel on it, but then i upgraded to the G27 & added the shifter mount.  i've got some old pics somewhere, let me have a dig.

2010, the way i used to have the GT5 wheel setup on a desk (this was for GT5 concept or whatever it was called):

here's the cockpit how it was for ages before getting the G27:

pictures after i added the G27 in 2011:

Nice Graph - is that a G5 Mac Pro you've got there as well mate? Looks to be an old one with that style of keyboard. Or is it an Intel?
