above is;
• 1tb ps3 slim
• 4gb xbox 360 slim
• 2x razor onza tournament controllers
• few sony ds3s
• xbox & ps3 into switch box using monster braided component cables then into hauppage hd pvr > sony 42" bravia for picture
• xbox & ps3 into optical splitter > hauppage hd pvr > tritton ax-pros for sound
• 1tb back up drive (which is pretty well a waste of time if you have a ps3 failure as you can't use your backed up data on a replacement console, good one sony)
• yamaha 6.1 dts/5.1 dolby surround sound + yamaha dvd player
• 2 of my biggest fans, one of which no longer turns but i cbf'd chasing the cord back to pitch it lol
• leather recliner

that's a logitech g27 racing rig i built when playing/competing on gt5.  now it sits under a sheet to try & hold off some of the dust :/

might post up the rest of the office someday but currently it's a mess after the silly season.

For a second there, I thought you had a special stand for your headset haha (then I realised it was hanging off a speaker :D). That racing rig looks really cool too, must've been epic to race with.

Nice one Graph B).  I think you can still get some of your data back from a back-up, or could once.  It's been a long time, but when I traded in my old 60GB, I backed up then restored on a new machine, and got all of my non-locked saves, as well as music and vids over, I think.  Was a few years ago now, though, and my memory's not so flash ;).

Here's my uber-slick setup (/srcsm ;)).  We've got a storage/spare room, and if you look carefully at the corners you'll see the non-stick frypan and stainless-steel frypans next to my wireless wheel (a good step down from Graph's rather awesome setup B)), and behind the wireless wheel is the bottom of the Hotas T-flight stick that works great with BIRDS OF STEEL!  Pile of 'games to play' and 'frequently played games' is sitting on top of PC. New Xbox currently has pride of place, and PS3 is sitting on Atlas of the 20th Century, to help with ventilation and to give it a sense of history.  Backup headphone charge stand is at front-left.

Window is normally open if day, but closed as it messed with the exposure - nice view of trees, and sometimes some rosellas sit outside and look rosella-ey.

i now see why you want a universal headset & why you want it to be wireless.  far more practical.  how do you find switching between systems on the tv ?  is each just on a separate hdmi port on the screen or something else ?

Aye, totally - there's already enough wires and stuff floating about the place!  On the TV it's just separate ports - it's got 4 HDMI, 1 DVI, a couple of composite and one component.  I just switch between them on the remote.

Haha, it's actually pretty straighforward - there's just a lot of wires floating around that make it look 'cluttered', but it doesn't bother me.  Had to pull it apart and put it back together twice this year (carpets cleaning then later removal), and it's nowhere near as painful to pull apart and put back together as it looks ;).  But it definitely isn't a particularly tidy way of doing things.  If you look closely you can also see the Vita (in soft case) and headphones to the top-left of the Xbox.

Hey Batty, there's two options - one is to attach a file (click on 'more reply options' and you should have an attach button at the bottom) or you can upload a photo straight (click the photo icon, and there should be an 'upload' tab).

The sweet pedals for my g27 are out of shot, but my hmz 3d viewer is to the right of the gear stick. Second photo has the PC and ps3 out of shot, but the 360 is there with 75% of my games as well.

Time to add neatness and organisation, my PC is not pictured as it is shared and not in my room.
      Attached File  t1.jpg   131.02K   79 downloads

And my actual play area, I have the sound hookup through composite cables so it can go straight to the speakers, other things are just PC games, PC xbox controller portable HDD, also pictured as well as the legs of my Lego AT-AT.
