That's why they're called teasers.

I know. Teasers are a stupid concept. Just show us a trailer. Trailers don't need trailers.

Completely agree - I wouldn't normally even bother with it. For a teaser, I think they show a lot to the old school fans... or enough to show them/us that it's not going to be this prequel shit that was dished out to us before.

Even the rusted/old pod racer parts in the background. haha... nice little touch.

Would I have liked to have seen more, of course - I want to see the fucking movie right now, so it's a job well executed. Now I have to wait a whole bloody year until that happens... which at the same time is bloody ridiculous.

The teaser didn't do anything for me at all to move me from my current position that I'm really excited to hear more of John Williams music and nothing else. I'm not even going to see it. I'm done with Star Wars. I'm just that jaded.

I used to care about getting a proper release for the unaltered original films but I don't think I even do about that anymore....

Can't agree with you more... it's great to hear the old classics but I hope he throws in a few new ones as well. Best composer ever.

Sigh, and to think the last terminator was bad. Way to kill it off.
I would've thought they'd do the war in the future and finish it with kyle going back in time, thus finishing the loop.
But we got this shit.

Aye, I deffo find it very sad that many movie 'series' tend to focus more on flogging a good horse than telling a good, cohesive story.  One of the reasons movies based on books are, or at least were good.  Now that there are authors that like to do the same thing (Robert Jordan, RIP and George RR Martin, to name two prominent authors that are more interested in stringing people along than actually developing a coherent plot arc), books are getting messier as well.

Did I just hit a tangent?

Anyways, back on topic, at least it looks like we don't have to worry about Arnie being hard-up when he retires ;).

Also, is it just me or did the special effects look worse than what they did in T2 lol?

Just watched Guardians of the Galaxy. That was good fun and thoroughly enjoyable, good soundtrack as well.
It had good action and several amusing bits, a fun movie.

Never heard of those characters before I just mainly know of the more main stream characters from Marvel and DC did recognise Thanos from the end of the Avengers though.

Yeah, I think they are supposed to be setting Thanos up for a future Avengers movie to do with the Infinity Gems I think. They should be doing another GotG movie too.

GotG was awesome. Seemed to have that perfect balance of everything... reminded me a lot of the original Star Wars films. Definitely hope they make more of them.

Check out a movie called Predestination - it's a little bit like Looper. Also a movie called Snowpiercer. Then there's the more obvious ones like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Days of Future Past and Edge of Tomorrow.

Last year was great for sci-fi - a lot of quality movies.

I enjoyed GotG as well. I think I enjoy the Marvel films more when they're are a bit more removed from our reality. Did not enjoy The Winter Soldier at all.

Yeah completely agree GasClown, it was a great year for scifi. Interstellar as well.

To each their own - I thought it was okay. I definitely saw what was coming well before I should have but I went into it without knowing what I was getting into and came out the other end pleasantly surprised.

It's an Aussie flick by the way and I thought Snook did a great job for her first (relatively) big outing/role.

True - I did think she did a good job and was probably one of the good aspects of the film

So we watched The interview, without a doubt the worst movie ive ever seen.

If North Korea did hack sony to stop the release, it was to spare us wasting our time watching the terrible movie lol.

Saw that from a mile away - haven't even bothered with it. Good for some confirmation though.

I think we should do a whip-around to get something to compensate you for the trouble of watching it so we all knew not to ;).  That, or maybe we should all write an open letter to North Korea thanking them for minimising the pain to western audiences? :).
