Got the platinum trophy for The Last of Us: Remastered . All up, it took about three playthroughs and a bit extra since I didn't get enough parts to fully upgrade my weapons in both Grounded and Grounded mode Plus. I had already obtained all of the MP trophies last year (including DLC) when we had our TLoU Community Nights on GG .

Grounded mode is really something else though... It can get so intense going through the game with no HUD and especially knowing that I would die in just one or two hits during my first playthrough. NG+ was easier with the upgrades but still had its scary moments, particularly towards the end of the game.

I also finally got around to playing Left Behind and it surprised me with how it plays out. I enjoyed that too .

That's one impressive plat .  Gotta hand it to Naughty Dog with that game, it goes very nicely, and has layers on layers within the gameplay .

But seriously, why the hell is there a "Die x amount of times" trophy for a horror survival game? Or they just expected people to die that many times lol?

Yeah - that does sound bloody stupid when you're trying not to be seen at all.

Totally agree, those trophies that ask you to play in a way counter to the main thrust of gameplay, and then ask you to do it a lot, are one of the bigger reasons I don't have more plats.  Enjoy giving yourself nightmares .

Pretty much. Thankfully theres a save point where the alien will always come out of the vent so easily attainable.
But also occured to me that playing nightmare mode didnt give me the hard trophy so now im playing on hard like a spastic, killing 2 trophies 1 playthrough aha.

Apparently sacrificing other humans then try beating the alien with the stun batton isnt a great idea

If i wasnt such a fan i wouldnt have bothered haha. Finally got it after about a 2 hour sesh of loading, straffing left for 3 secs, dying and repeat lol.

Though i did have a bit of fun in the end, found out you can speed run parts of it as the alien just doesnt give a FC#K, you can blow it up with a fire extinguisher amoung other things haha

Got the plat for God of War: Ascension nothing too bad really took around 12 hours maybe all up of game time, so pretty much similar to the rest of the series bar 1. No challenge or trails mode being needed does cut the time down a little from the others and 1 still tops the being the hardest for its trials and having to do them in one sitting.

finally got around to finishing Fallout 4 wasn't that hard of a platinum game got a bit boring by the end of it.
