Wooh, finally got the Dying Light plat last night after giving up for a few weeks due to some of the persistent trophy glitches

.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game and it was a huge breath of fresh air from the Destiny addiction I'd succumbed to for the past few months - well, since release really, hehe. The ability to parkour almost everywhere in the open-world was definitely fun and most sidequests were unique with their own stories attached to them. It's pretty much what I'd hoped Far Cry 4 would be like after Far Cry 3 with much less linearity in the mission structures. I enjoyed most of the story too.
I guess the main thing that was frustrating for me (and probably a few others) were a few of the trophy bugs that weren't fixed in EU till about a month after launch. There's not much else to do post-game except maybe the Be the Zombie mode

. And then when it was patched, the trophies still wouldn't unlock even in New Game Plus playthroughs. It almost gave me even more grief yesterday when Radi found some successful workarounds to get our missing trophies without us having to start a whole new save file and play through the story for the third/fourth time, and I realised afterwards that I had accidentally deleted my main save file.... luckily I (or PS+) uploaded some saves to the cloud earlier on in the month and could re-download those

.
Aside from the trophy/collectible troubles though, I found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable game. Especially with some co-op buddies
