I would't read to much into EB's 2015 date. It's not the first time they have put the current year on a newly announced game only to have to change it later when the date is actually confirmed.

This year or next... doesn't matter. I still need to go back and finish Dragon Age: Origins again before I can finish playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, Skyrim and Witcher 3.

By then there should be plenty of mods out.

I wouldn't trust EB to get the launch date first, they're very good at taking money early.  Steam, though, is also taking money (but with a release date of TBD), but I haven't seen Steam start taking money as early as EB, so it may be a positive sign for this year.  If they get Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 out in the same year (as Bloodborne ), it'll make 2015 a big year for RPGs .

Love the in-game building options, plus the scale of the weapon and armour crafting looks epic.  Also glad to see the combat looking a bit smoother and VATS still an option

quick version (but yeah you need to watch it )

Well they introduced a new feature of being able to scrap literally anything in game, and in certain areas, build/design your own settlement.  No just buildings, rooms, beds etc but being able to create generators and power all sorts of things, including defense systems.  Its an optional feature but one that allows you to truly tailor the experience/world for yourself.   As your settlements grows, people will actually come stay there, vendors will move in etc.  A very cool feature to make multiple play throughs very different

There I think 50 base weapons in the game, but over 700 modding options, allowing you to turn a basic laser pistol into all sorts of combos.   Again, mods are made using junk/scrap components that in fallout 3 didn't serve much of a purpose.

Wow- they showed us a lot and the hype is incredible. It seems like they have been working on this for ages and can reveal a lot of these features without worrying about not being actually able to deliver on said promises unlike other publishers/devs

OMG, releasing this year!  That's a very high level of awesomeness .  Haven't watched the vid yet, today chewed me up a bit so that'll be for tomorrow, but looking forward to it.  Cheers for the info Jyks, that settlement-building aspect sounds right up my alley.

Right guys wish me luck tomorrow when I can get to eb and order that pipboy...apparently Eb said sold out but will put money on it just incase its available again...should have known to jump on website and preorder straight away on Monday night but eb nz had it for $299 then....
Only waych a tiny bits of preview..creating yourself and bits about pipboy and fallout shelter...the rest will be surprise for November

Voice recording has apparently finished, and there were 111,000 lines!  According to Bethesda, that's more than Skyrim and FO3 combined, which is pretty impressive .  I loves me some story with my gameplay mechanics, and this is a pretty good indication we'll got a good dollop of that in FO4 .
