Ghosts - Clan Sixes Season 1 Structure/Layout

The Nov/Dec 2013 Clan Sixes event is to get a feel for competitive play in Call of Duty: Ghosts. The final structure will be:

• Three round-robin rounds, and one round of finals, over four weeks. The first round will run from the 25th November to 1st of December, and the last from the 16th to 22nd of December.
  
• Final spots will be based on final ladder position at the end of the third round.
  
• The team that wins the best out of the five games wins the round.
  
• The asterisk (*) marks the hosting team for the first round. Each team will switch hosts after each game - this should be fairly simple with the "Make Leader" option when highlighting another player in the Ghosts lobby.

Round 1 (Monday 25th Nov to Sunday 1st Dec):

The draws have been updated and every team will be able to play one another through the Round Robin Stage . The asterisk (*) shows the hosting team for the first game in each round, and teams will need to switch hosts after each game (or at least come to an agreement on however to organise it after the first game).

Also, just a heads up while I'm writing this - I'll be going overseas on December 7th so I personally won't be able to run the Tourney, play or update things, etc while I'm gone. But Axe or one of the Comp Team Staff members should be able to take over and update everything so I'm sure the Tournament will still go very smoothly .

NzAs have pulled out of the Clan Sixes due to personal reasons, so we can still proceed with 3 teams if everyone thinks it's okay.

BLaZn would have a Bye this week and then going forth, on the rounds where a team is meant to play NzAs they will have a Bye instead as well. Sorry about this guys, I'll sort out and update the details some time later tonight.

My apologies for the departure of NzAs. 90% of it is my fault. I thought I could put gaming aside for a while and concentrate on other things in my life but play a bit of competitive on the side. But tbh, just haven't got the time. And with me not playing, a few others don't want to play aswell.

Sorry about the late notice. I probably won't get back into competitive gaming again. Keep trucking though queenie and GG. In the decision to quit competitive gaming I've decided the whole clan thing with cod is just not necessary anymore and have departed from NzAs to let them move on and hopefully get better and tighter as a unit without my lack of activity and motivation holding them back.

It's all good Matt. The real life stuff is much more important (as someone likes to tell me often), so it's natural that it could happen eventually and you don't have to apologise. AintNobody is handling and communicating everything really well on NzAs' behalf here, so I'm sure he'll be a great leader too.

We're sort of midways on our end in Blazn as well, with KDA and I being busier over time and Ghosts not turning out as great as we could've hoped... It's hard for all clans but we're more social compared to most of the other competitive teams/clans here so there's a lot less pressure on ourselves.

Anyways, best of luck with everything and maybe see you around online from time to time. Your PSN Profile statuses about CoD always make me laugh a little, haha .

Funny statuses yes, but also true . Glad I can entertain haha. Yea ghost isn't quite what anyone was expecting. Very disappointing on many levels.

Good to hear Shaun has it sussed. Be interesting to see how the competitive side of ghost pans out. I can really just see an absolute camp fest in the mix lol.
