I played season 1 & 2 over the xmas break.  Thoroughly enjoyed both.  1st time I have played a telltale production and I dig the mechanics of having to make rapid decisions under pressure, puts you in the story in real time.   Will be hitting up GoT over the easter break.

I kinda find them relaxing. I haven't felt mega pressured yet, although some of the decisions I've had to make haven't been easy (whether you call that pressure or not I guess is dependant on the individual). Haven't played their (TT's) other games yet...

BF: Hardline Beta

Terrible rubber banding on PC 64 player servers. If it was any other game you could excuse a beta, but its built on the BF4 engine and they already delayed the game so in my eyes there is no excuse. Its weird cause BF4 is running alright for the most part so I dont know. Sure it could be a stress test, but people are using this opportunity to see how the game is and not finding any fun

I might try a smaller server and see how that goes. The infantry focus on this BF game has me interested

edit: numerous typos after a scotch :) <3

Well - after going the third and it ending like it did, I ended up going the fourth as well... problem being, it ended on an even bigger cliff hanger. One more to go... these need to be twice as long, it's over too quickly. :(

Started Bioshock Infinite (PC) I think that opening topped Bioshocks personally, Columbia is an impressive place to look at.
It looks good on medium and runs quite well staying depending on the situation its around 40-60fps.
Only bad point is no manual save so I hope the checkpoints aren't too far apart as I don't want to have to be checkpoint hunting when I want to quit.

Nice one Spec :).  From memory, the checkpoints were fairly frequent, so all being well won't cause you too much trouble.  At the very least, I can't remember it being an issue (and I tend to wrap up my evenings at 9:30/9:45 fairly strictly, so I notice games that make you go 30-45 minute stretches between saves, as you have to wrap up earlier in the evening so you don't get caught between checkpoints).

Haha, awesome Clowny B).  I think you made the same choices I did ;).

@ Jyks - TT games are awesome - I started playing them with the Sam and Max games through PS+ on PS3, and have got all of them except for the Jurassic park ones since, eventually (ie, I haven't played Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands or GoT, as they're way too modern, but I'll get there).  I've heard very good things about Wolf Among Us (Smokey I'm pretty sure was a big fan, as was another mate from Melbourne), and will be checking that out 'soon' (well, not too long after I finish Dragon Age, so soon 'ish'!).

Speaking of Dragon Age, around 18 hours in and feels like I'm just starting to scratch the surface, reckon I'll be playing this one for a good while!  Also mixing it up with some chillaxing with TransOcean - The Shipping Company, a shipping management game (like a simplified Railroad Tycoon with ships), which goes well when buggered :).

It's tough not to just tear through those TT games, eh? How'd you go with the ending?  Lots of tough choices and brilliantly crafted moments.

I don't think it affected me like the first but it was still just as good and enjoyable.

Yeah from not having played GOT The Wolf Among Us has definitely been my favourite.

Speaking of which I've played a bit of Life is Strange, episode 1 and I think it's going to be fantastic series in a similar spirit as those games but built around the conceit that time can be manipulated. Makes for interesting situations and allows even more second guessing in locking in decisions lol.

it was forecast to be 42º here yesterday so was staying inside.  my office isn't airconditioned so i though i'd play divinity for an hour or two before the heat settled in.  ended up spending all day on it & just ignoring the heat.  the water cooler on my pc goes dark blue, light blue, white & then purple when it's really hot.  yesterday it went pink & i've never seen it do that lol, the temp sensors i have in there were both on 68º & they're just in the case.  a couple times it skipped a couple of times, but never froze, must've been getting near critical mass though lol.
