Yeah I think you have to buy the 'DIGITAL' version of BF4 on PS3 from the PS Store to get the discounted 'DIGITAL' version on PS4.

I was planning on getting the digital version on PS4 anyway since its a game i'll be playing alot and rather not deal with changing discs all the time.

Yeah was a little disappointed myself there was no Santa Monica or Naughty Dog announcement, but they did mention on stage at the conference that they're both working on unannounced titles. So maybe they'll reveal something next month during Tokyo Game Show or during the VGA's in December.

Pre Alpha and Dying Light looked like that?
I for one am super keen on that game now!
Now we have a date, I just need it to hurry up until November :D

On the 1st party announcements from companies like Santa Monica, Naughty Dog etc
Sometimes you just need to remember, GoW, Last of Us came out a couple months ago, they did some DLC for it, are probably doing some more...where in the blazes do they have time to start a new title yet alone think about showing something this early? lol

Sometimes there's just not enough time between events to even scrap anything together and I know Naughty Dog would probably not show something until there satisfied it's up to certain standards

I fell asleep just before the Sony one started :(. But yay for lots of Vita support from what I'm re-watching so far. Borderlands 2 definitely sounds interesting for the Vita :D. Vita is awesome for Indie games.

Wasn't expecting things like Twitch and Minecraft coming to PlayStation though, but that's really cool too.

Yeah but both Naughty Dog and Santa Monica have been working on their next gen titles. Remember The Last of Us was Naughty Dogs second team, not the Uncharted team so they might have something to show for it while The Last of Us team continue to work on DLC for TLOU.

I expected nothing Outlaw if I'm being honest
Maybe they had something ready but weren't happy with how it looked before gamescon?
Who knows, will just wait and see, title could be so big they don't want to release something until they know for sure they could have it ready for 2014 or 2015 etc

probably something to do with beating the Xbox1 int he us Market, after all it only has a 'november' release date, so now they either go later and let ps4 have a small amount of time to build its initial market share and build some hype, launch at the same time, or launch earlier run the risk of selling out early in the month and and then have trouble with stick levels for late november early december which is typically the US' busiest retail period.

Spot on - Sony already has the Euro and Japanese markets under control... US is the one they've got much stiffer competition and need to go head on with MS.

Was very happy with Sony's Gamescom presser m'self - a tonne of new games, a WAR THUNDER trailer and it being ready to go at launch, what's not to love?  I thought Shadow of the Beast looked like a pretty decent, biggish budget game (we don't know much yet, but it is an announcement), and it was supported by a tonne of interesting smaller titles.  Lots of good looking Vita titles as well.  Looking at what we're getting on Day 1, I can't remember a launch that's come anywhere near as looking as interesting (and I'm not just saying that because of Killzone and War Thunder - even if they weren't there, Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Battlefield and CoD all look slick).

Also really liked the idea of Bigfest - reckon I could have a lot of fun with that.  Nothing too serious, just a cool combination of gaming and listening to music B).

Also - XCOM: Enemy Within officially announced as a PS3/360 stand-alone expansion - basically XCOM with a coat of spit and polish, and a new trooper class :D.
