There are a lot of good looking games coming out in the next year or so.  It feels like the late-gen rush, but it's not late-gen!

Hitman's additional story content & locations will be released for free
"You will buy it and have entertainment for a few months on top."

IO Interactive has clarified how it intends to roll out additional content for Hitman, confirming that while the game will only ship with a limited amount of content on day one, all additional content and locations released throughout 2016 will be available to download at no additional cost.

There will be "no DLC or microtransactions", the studio promises.

"It is fully complete at launch but it is not finished," studio head Hannes Seifert told VideoGamer.com at E3 earlier today. "What we do is we start the journey on December 8 and what we put out there is going to be a big game. But over the course of 2016 we'll add more locations, more missions and we'll have things like targets that only appear for, say, 2 days. That's something you can only do in the live world."
The game falls outside of traditional release models, launching as a full-priced $60 release but with additional content concluding the story rolling out in the months following launch. Once that content has been released, the game will be available to purchase on disc.

I don't mind the approach they're taking - sounds like it could be good - play it for a bit up front, then dip back in for a new contract or two every month or so.  However, this sentence....

Aye, that is sad, but it's also kinda cool in how Kojima went about it B).  Mad, mad move by Konami, hopefully Kojima will go on to make more games somewhere else :).

Waiting for someone to make stickers saying 'A Hideo Kojima Game' and go around the stores and stick them on the games.

MGS and Kojima is a game/name engrained so deep in gaming culture, it's sad that it's come to an end. I look at something like Uncharted and as much as I enjoy it and brilliant the games are, they don't quite have the same significance and history as MGS. MGS could go on forever, I don't think it's ever hit its peak (even though all of the games have been some of the best I've ever played).

With that said though - I have a good feeling that MGSV will be the pinnacle of the series but at the same time a sad feeling that it'll remain just that way.

Exploration adventure Submerged surfaces on PS4(and Xone, PC) 5th August
And PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab a 20% discount

G’day from Australia! Ed Orman here again, and I’m very excited to be able to finally announce that Submerged is coming to your PlayStation 4 on 5th August! And to kick things off, for a limited time PlayStation Plus members will receive a 20% discount on the game starting at launch.

Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat.

Cheers Spec, I've been looking forward to this one as well :D.  I'm not 100% on this, but I think the devs (Uppercut games) might be Australian.

Any batman lovers?
Been thinking of picking up Arkham Knight but i've not played any of the previous games.
Does it really matter? Or is it all 1 long storyline which requires all the games? Or can i miss a couple or not bother with them lol?

It doesn't matter. I'd play the first one (Arkham Asylum) - I still think it's the best (not that I've played the third [ignoring Origins] because of the fuck up on PC).

I've got Arkham Knight, but haven't got around to playing it yet - but as Clowny and Aro say, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are both great games.  You didn't need to play Asylum to understand City, so I doubt you'll need to play either to understand Knight, but the earlier games are cheap as chips these days (at least one and maybe both were on PS+ on PS3 as well, in case you might have it from then?) and are still great games.  So worth a gander, but not compulsory :).  Arkham Origins starts well and also looks pretty good, but the first boss difficulty spiked me into submission, and am yet to go back and start again on easy.
