Well definitely LH has the edge now... looks like it's game over for Nico unless he nabs the double points in Abu, which would really suck.

So last race gents. My hope is LH wins... I think he deserves it most. He's won the most races and he also had the most technical problems which was is an obvious set back to his lead. It'd suck if he had problems in this race and with the double points Rosberg would be remembered as the guy that won it that way... which is honestly a joke.

With that said though - I wouldn't mind seeing Rosberg win as well... it's just that I think LH deserves it more.

I just don't want that double points to be the reason Rosberg wins. I think its just so stupid that one bit of bad luck in this race could wipe out two(50 points) entire wins.

Well yeah - it's a bloody joke. Worse than the sound of the new engines.

Awesome! How it should have been. No controversy, won fair and square. Sad another year is over. March can't come soon enough.

The best man won, all is right with the world and so want them to get rid of the double points shit.
The best driver all year could end up losing the title with bad luck and someone claiming 50 points, what a load of shit. The title winner should be like this year, the most consistent and the one who climbed above the pack. This double point thing has the potential for it to be won on luck, that should never happen.

Completely agree Dunny - bloody embarrassment to motorsport those double points.

Its definitely a different look and design to the typical LMP will be interesting to see how it performs against the others.

Watching the WEC 6hr Silverstone on FOXsport and brilliant wheel to wheel racing between the Audi and Porsche LMP1s just switching places back an forth each lap the Audi having better speed through the corners but the Porsche just so much quicker on the straight and just blasts past it each time there is any length of road.
Its just so cool to see two different cars so close together with the different fuel hybrid systems.

Webber was in the lead but retired due mechanical issues.

A bit pissed I have to watch streams online for the F1 now. It's by no means terrible and for only 10 races a year but still - fuck Foxtel. Not paying $50 a month after the last 30+ years of watching it for free.

Liked that post to not like Clowny. commiserations :(.  I don't understand how Foxtel can charge what it does for what it provides, while Netflix can undercut it considerably for what appears to be a better service.  Different service, but still pretty damn good.  Suspect competition will force Foxtel to modernise sooner or later (it has been a little, but it's got a ways to go), sorry to hear they've gone and poked their nose into your fave sport.

Managed to luck out and come across the Live semi-final and final of round 2 of the World Rally Cross Championship on Foxtel. Showed a few heats from the previous day as well. It can certainly be entertaining to watch, a car in the lead by a bit took too much out of a corner and flipped it, another had a great recovery after a crash and went on like nothing happened.

Not too surprised to see that Solberg is the World champ and is leading the Championship so far, all those years in the WRC will have done some good with tackling the terrain. In the races I saw him in did it pretty easy from pole just got out in front and do it pretty comfortably from there.

Watch a few hours of the WEC 6hr of Spa, next up Le Mans which should be a good battle if Porsche can stay problem free, would love Toyota to catch back up and make it a 3 way battle with Porsche and Audi.

Incredible Race Action between Audi and Porsche
