The Battlefield 3 deal is just terrible. PSN needs to have prices that can compete with Steam. The other deals arent that bad so far. Not for me though so i'll just see what comes up next. Need a discounted 1 year PS+ deal
Hey, PSN's BF3 price is exceedlngly competitive with Steam - you can't even got BF3 on Valve's shopfront

. And the differences between the PSN and Steam across most games aren't that great, and on occasion the PSN out-does Steam, it's no-where near as one-sided as it used to be. In many cases it's the publishers and not the PSN, as well - Sony's first-party and second-party titles are usually pretty well priced and drop fairly quickly (I'd wager you'd struggle to find a newly-released Steam game of the quality and scope of R&C:Q-Force for the $25 or so price it's going for). Steam still does have an edge, but it's far from everywhere these days.
Last years 12 deals of Christmas weren't that great though, and I suspect these ones won't be too exciting either, although as Live sharply points out, some of the games to be discounted aren't starting expensive, could be a few value-for-money gaming experiences in there

.
