Yeah, I thought it was 50% off that price listed above so I thought it was decent, but it was already discounted when I checked the store before putting up the deal.

With the discounted PS+ deal though, if you buy and stack four of the 90-day deals (360 days) you'd still save around (NZ) $24 from the full priced 1-year PS + subscription, less 5 days from the full year .

Full Price 1-year subscription = NZ $89.95  (AU $69.99)
4 x Special 90-day subscription = 4 x NZ $16.45 =  NZ $65.80  (AU $53.80)

Some of the future deals have potential to be good, but some others don't

Here is the list of what most people have guessed them to be.

Spoiler

Deal 9 should be good has it is a good base price, Deal 12 can't see this be good unless it has a large discount.

I was planning to get Deal 4 if it went on sale, and maybe Deal 10 too.

Can you stack the PS+ deals? How does that work. If you keep buying it does it get extended?

Might do that instead! Thanks!

Hey, PSN's BF3 price is exceedlngly competitive with Steam - you can't even got BF3 on Valve's shopfront :P.  And the differences between the PSN and Steam across most games aren't that great, and on occasion the PSN out-does Steam, it's no-where near as one-sided as it used to be. In many cases it's the publishers and not the PSN, as well - Sony's first-party and second-party titles are usually pretty well priced and drop fairly quickly (I'd wager you'd struggle to find a newly-released Steam game of the quality and scope of R&C:Q-Force for the $25 or so price it's going for).  Steam still does have an edge, but it's far from everywhere these days.

Last years 12 deals of Christmas weren't that great though, and I suspect these ones won't be too exciting either, although as Live sharply points out, some of the games to be discounted aren't starting expensive, could be a few value-for-money gaming experiences in there B).

Yep, you can stack the subscriptions and it'll just add up or roll over to the next one you've bought.

Quote

Will I lose my remaining term if I renew my subscription early?

No, your new membership term will be added to the existing entitlement, so for example if you purchase a 1-year membership with 10 days to go on the existing one, the new membership will be valid for 375 days.

Do I have to wait until my current PlayStation Plus membership expires before I can buy a new one?

No, you can purchase a new membership at any time. In addition, we recommend you register your credit card details to be able to take advantage of automatic renewal and ensure you don't miss out on any of the great benefits of PlayStation Plus.

I forgot to put that in the PlayStation Plus article I wrote, sorry. I'll update it now.

I've also read some people saying that they have PS Plus subscriptions stacked all the way to 2014/2015 so far in some of the PS Blog comments .

And today's special Christmas Deal number 4 is One Piece: Pirate Warriors. I think this is even less than half of the price it was put up originally in the Store, so definitely picking this up to "Set sail for One Piece!".

Deal 4: One Piece: Pirate Warriors – Now AU $29.95/ NZ $49.95 (50% off).
Offer expires on Sunday 9th December.

Not interested in One Piece but this is a good price, if they continue with this 50% Deal 9 will be very good.
I also just grabbed one lot of the 90ps+ as well.

I grabbed a 90-day PS+ deal just before as well. Thinking about maybe getting another one later tonight.

Hope that the rest of the deals are just as good or even better as well ;).

PSN seems to have gotten itself a pc store

https://store.sonyen...k.com/#!/en-au/

You can sign in and everything  haven't tried purchasing or anything though.

Its so much quicker and better, the search works better, I think I will just use this one from now on.

That store was around before but it was useless since you couldn't do anything with it, i think you were only able to buy games on PSP and download them to your PSP, but looks like they have improved alot!

Its the complete PS Store now - browse, add to cart, checkout, redeem codes, purchase history - Its all there.

Oh and it accepts paypal payments too now. You can also automatically add the purchased items to the download queue on your play station.

Wow, I was looking at that Sleeping Dogs Digital Edition yesterday and I'm pretty certain that this deal is much more than 50% off ;).

I could be massively wrong but I think the next game will be 70% on PC psn on the front page it show sleeping dogs for $26.96 with +(which is wrong of course), if we take the predicted next games price which is $99.95 take 70% we get  $29.99 take the usual 10% extra for plus we get $26.96, of course I could be wrong.

Edit: I was massively wrong only 50% MEDAL OF HONOR™ WARFIGHTER $49.95, $44.95 for plus.

Yeah, the discount's not as massive as the 70% one for the Sleeping Dogs deal, but 50% off is still fairly good (especially since MoH: Warfighter is still a relatively recent game).

Yep, I was looking at that Festive Sale just before, hehe. Just realised it comes with AU pricing this time... I'll start putting it up now then . Looks like there's a fair few PSOne and PS2 classics coming to the PS Store tomorrow too with the PS Store update.
