And that marks the end of this year's '12 Deals of Christmas' Sale. There were definitely some amazing discounts on offer for some highly acclaimed titles this year, so hopefully you could all find some deals well worth paying for and can look forward to next year's Christmas Sales too.

In the meantime, have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year :P.

$13.45 for 90 days, I'm very tempted to get two lots of them for 6 months for $26.90, will most likely grab a least one.

Yeah, I missed out on the September PS+ subscription discounts (was unsure whether to continue or not), so I'll probably pick up a 90-day one this time round as well .

Wonder what the other deals will be :D.

Don't forget you can always switch it out with a bigger HDD - only reason I don't is all my music on there will be a bit of a pain to get back on, so I'm swapping things off and on my 160GB a bit - but for $100 you could pick up a 5400rpm 750GB drive, or a smaller 7200rpm one.  If the PS4 isn't coming out until late 2014.

Problem with that is putting everything back on it took 3 whole days of installing and downloading patches for me and I am still downloading games now, if I have all that space I am going to use it.

Aye, it can be a pain switching over - when my old 60GB original model PS3 died, getting everything set up on the new slim took a while (which is why I'm still on a 160GB drive atm - didn't realise we'd hit digital distribution quite as strongly this gen).

I had a 750KB one in for about 2 years and evrything eventually slowed down to a crawl. After trying everything and eventhough only half the space was used I put the old 40KB drive in and it worked a treat. now have a new 500KB drive in and problem solved, was a bitch installing everything again on dial up Central Coast speed.

Thanks for that Spectre  . Yeah, that's not very spectacular for the Christmas deals.. but at least it's 50% off for anyone thinking of trying it out.

Anything in particular you hoping for I_live_4_fun?

I'm hoping the Saints Row 3 season pass will go on sale $30 is too much would be fine with $20 and with THQ not in the greatest shape hopefully it will happen.
Also although unlikely would be Dead Space though I'll get that regardless, Assassin's Creed 2, KIllzone HD and the God of War psp HD games would also be considered if the price is right.

Thanks for asking,. There's not much I'm really hoping for at the moment, aside from the release of 'The Last of Us' (hopefully early next year) and a Final Fantasy X HD remake, or at least a PS Store digital version release (which may or may not ever happen, haha). Otherwise I've still got a whole heap of free games from PS Plus to try out and play so I'm happy with that .

I just had a look through the PS Store again and Assassin's Creed 2 (just the full game itself, not the GOTY edition) is available for free for PS Plus members at the moment . I found it under the 'Collections' section for Assassin's Creed.

No problem, I don't think Assassin's Creed 2 is the full game I thinks it just a trial, it only comes up free as they don't sell that version of it anymore only the GOTY, essential and complete editions which I think are all the same anyway.

Final Fantasy X HD the only way I would play through that again would be if it was a full remake not just a HD upgrade I have put over 300 hundred hours into it already and as much as I loved the game a little HD paint wouldn't be enough to play it again.
And I know about waiting for a game I stilling waiting for anything on Final Fantasy XIII Versus(hopefully ever).

Oh okay, I thought it was a bit strange that the GOTY edition wasn't for free or at least come with a discount either.

Yeah, I think I've put over a couple hundred hours into Final Fantasy X as well, across a few playthroughs. I miss all the cutscenes, the levelling up, exploring and playing hours and hours of Blitzball, even though not many people liked that mini-game I think, haha. A whole remake would be a definite buy for me .

There hasn't been many positive updates on the development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII lately, has there? It's been about 6 or 7 years... I really hope it's still in development. The trailers looked amazing.

It was the main game I played when I got my PS3 put another 50 hours of levelling to beat Dark Yojimbo.
I only had one play-though did most thins but beat penance and missed some Al-bed primers at the home base and didn't get Lulu's celestial weapon. Loved Blitz-ball even enjoyed the simplified version in X-2, the amount of time I spent trying to get the invisible shot for Waka, and Tidus Jecht shot 2. I remember grinding exp points by passing it between the two backs.

The Dark Aeons were really tough to beat; I think I only beat Dark Ifrit and Dark Valefor then for some reason my brother played on my save file and defeated the rest for me... I guess I didn't mind ;). The Invisible Shot was so hard to get, I think I my have gotten it only once. And then the Jecht Shot 2... in one playthrough I won it as the top or bonus prize for a tournament but no-one could learn it, not Tidus, Brother, or Wedge... I was so disappointed :(. The experience grinding was good though, I did it for my lower-level defenders near the goalie although it still took ages for them to level up, haha.

.... And I think this thread's a bit derailed now. Sorry everyone :)

Yes it is, any-ways the only person I have that wasn't on the original Aurochs team is Savanah, I got too attached to everyone.

Last years Christmas sale had a few downers as well so hopefully the good ones are yet to come, and they are not on games that have stupid psn pricing, I still have $64 from buying dse psn cards.

The Battlefield 3 deal is just terrible. PSN needs to have prices that can compete with Steam. The other deals arent that bad so far. Not for me though so i'll just see what comes up next. Need a discounted 1 year PS+ deal

Some of the future deals have potential to be good, but some others don't

Here is the list of what most people have guessed them to be.

Spoiler

Deal 9 should be good has it is a good base price, Deal 12 can't see this be good unless it has a large discount.
