I milked my eel into a pot of turtle stew. I flogged the one-eyed snake, I skinned my sausage. I made the bald man cry into the turtle stew

My favourite show. Easily one of the best on tv, if not the best!

I'm torn on it being the best - Breaking Bad is just as good but completely different. BSG remake was bloody awesome as well - maybe not quite as good though but damn close.

Waiting for this to come back so I can reading the 3rd book along with it, I hate that most shows have short seasons now days, damn budget limits.

BSG was indeed awesome. I disagree on Breaking Bad though, I tried so hard to like that show, but I just don't get the appeal. The main character shits me, he is bipolar and just does shit that makes no sense, yet people rave about how good the show is. I do not get it at all.

Yeah I can understand what you're saying. I'll be honest, I watched half of season 1, left it for a good 3-4 months as I got too busy, didn't really think much of it but kept reading high praise on it (from critics)... so ended up returning to it to give it a second chance - forcing myself to watch S1 and beyond to get what all the fuss was about. S1 wasn't that great but after that it just got better and better and ended up so flipping good that it shot right to the top of my list. Each to their own though - definitely no arguments there. :)

I've read the whole series. It's great. Martin is a harsh author, harsh on his characters and his readers. Merciless really. But it makes for great reading. I've been waiting a while for the next book in the series but Martin is apparently too busy watching the NFL to be writing.

The TV series is also great. It's different from the books in some significant ways but that is not a bad thing. It also offers insights which aren't necessarily immediately apparent from just reading the series.

Well im Re-reading the books and honestly, they could take longer than a year. Just hope they don't cut out too much stuff this season.. Wouldn't be surprised if they cut the season in 2 tbh
