The shotgun is still one of the best weapons in the game, but only if you can meatshot. Otherwise you're better using weapons like the Flare Gun/Detonator on Pyro and perhaps providing some support on the Soldier with the Buff Banner (make that rocket spam go further) or Concheror.

For Engineer, use the frontier justice if you're hitting 80%+ of your shots otherwise stick to the default shotgun or Pompson if you prefer. If you love to play offensively and can hit many of your shots then the Widowmaker is the gun for you (use in combination with a Gunslinger to be super effective!).

Scout is just a case of just use what's comfortable/effective for you, but in most situations the default Scattergun is the best as it has 6 rounds and a relatively quick reload.

I made $45 US for selling a weapon on TF2, get jealous.
Sure it might be stuck on my steam account but who cares free games for me.
