That's bloody epic Clowny! I'll try my hand at track creation as well, but it'll be a dash simpler . Game looks great though, look forward to getting my teeth into it this evening .
I'm not liking the building blocks as much as Evolution... they're all a bit too shiny for me so you're pretty limited to doing futuristic looking things only at the moment rather than more organic stuff. There's a lot there to choose from and part of what takes a lot of time is actually getting to know (memorising) all the parts so you can make your own things.
Downloading now, will give it a gander this evening, just went for the game and not the season pass initially, but will grab that as well if I find I'm getting right into it . The reviews for the game seem pretty good, and it sounds like it's as least as good as Trials Evolution, which seems a good sign . Hopefully there's more organic parts that are unlockable, or as DLC?

Yeah, I hope so as well. I was going to take my last track that I never finished (in Evo) and redo it in Fusion - all those plans gone to waste. It was going to be a ripper as well. It doesn't mean I can't do it, it just won't have the same organic feel and theme to it so it's probably not worth it now. Back to the drawing board I think. I'm still stumped in memorising all the parts/bits in there anyway... I doubt I'll start building any solid foundations for at least a fortnight, then it'll take a good month or so to get something I'm happy with. Hopefully by then they patch in the test with friends feature so I can use you as a guinea pig.
Hahaha, I'll happily guinea pig it up . Had a quick gander into the track editor yesterday and it's plenty deep. Still getting used to the interface, but I reckon I'll do a few tracks as well, much easier than LBP levels (which I like, but do my head in a bit) as a race track is less complex than the crazy ideas I've tried to make in LBP! Very, very impressed with the game and the editor, the social features (notifications when someone beats your time, so you can have leaderboard competitions) and, most importantly, the underlying gameplay, which just feels right .
Starting to lay down my skeletal track - that's my mission today I think while I still get familiar with the editor again. I like the addition of the radial menu - I'm trying to remember to use it all the time. There's also a way to test the performance of the track as well which wasn't in Evo. Layers is another top thing they've added in.
I totally agree with this summary from Destructoid.
"but what's there now, at launch, is a step down fromTrials Evolution."
Haha, sounds like it's next-gen then, the way the PS4 and XB1 launched as well . Shame for all the Trials vets - I don't notice it, but I'm a big fan of supporting the fans. Hopefully the patch the missing stuff in right soon.
I can only get silver as well, can't remember how many meters though but I'm about half way between the silver and gold wall checkpoint sections.
Finally got it after a million goes at it! One of the tougher golds for sure.
I can see myself snapping a DS4 playing this game. Those Expert Club tracks are going to give me nightmares. Not too sure if I wanna see the Master's Gauntlet tracks, they're most likely coma inducing!

Nice work - I'll eventually go back to it one day...

Nice work Eco . I gave it 30 or so attempts today, but am still on bronze, lol! If you've got someone on your friends list who's got a medal, you can go to the leaderboard and watch their run to get some ideas on how to beat it. Watching Hero's technique got me from 40 metres to 70, lol .
Bloody top game though - I doubt I'll get through all of the tougher tracks, but I'll give the ones I'm able to unlock a crack, and then tear into what the community put together, and put one or two together m'self.

Didn't know that - but I did enjoy going back and beating all your runs. Got a few other people to contend with as well. Slowly starting to memorise the editor bits and pieces but I reckon I'm along way off before I can start moulding them together seamlessly. I still reckon everything is far too shiny and you won't get much variety in the custom tracks people create - compared to Evo that is.

Wow, I didn't realise you could do that - that may help out a lot on some of the more difficult tracks. The trick with Big Air was to lean back before you quickly lean forward and hit triangle to bail - keep holding your lean to 3 o'clock whilst in the air to keep the momentum going. You obviously need some good speed coming down the ramp too, but doing the above should help with the gold.

If you think that's difficult - beware the user made ninja tracks. Following video is what you're up for.. So if you think you are good at this game - you are not, we all suck. haha.

So, worth it? How is the multiplayer?
Depends if you're into this type of game. If you are, then definitely. Also, once the track building community starts building some decent shit there will be a constant flow of new tracks for "at least" a year. RedLynx are yet to patch in online multiplayer but it'll be a free update. You can still race your friends ghosts atm etc.
