You were over 100 days on PS4 weren't ya Jyks (apologies if I've confused PS4 and PC)?  Deffo post that up, you should have the number of days in the in-game leaderboard even if you didn't get a screen at the end.

Yeah got to day 107 on PS4, will try and remember to send you the screen grab as a message attachment.  In theory, if you read the message via the andriod app you can then save it and post if for me ;)

Just started a new PC game, on like day 11 I was exploring looking for graves for some gears.

Instead found the clockworx area,  a few pigs were nearby, so killed a few spiders got some meat, and some pig followers.  Donned my log armour and ventured in to get the bishops and beast argo enuff to attack the pigs, well what ensued was pretty awesome.

Ragging clockwork beast was charging everywhere, destroying heaps of trees and missing me and the pigs, then treeguard spawns, bishops and the beast had a war against the pigs and treeguard.   I just sat back and watched the show :)

Treeguard won the smackdown, after killing everything cept me.   So I now have 10+ gears and all sorts of goodies well before 1st winter

@ Eco - that's a crazy impressive set-up you've got there, excellent work :D.

@ Jyks - lolololol, love it - goes very well :D.  I'm yet to bump into any gears, from graves or elsewhere.  Have got gnomes, ball and strings, tiny rocketships and some other random stuff though.

cheers, my home base has changed a little since that pic (now at day 420+), but haven't taken a screen shot in a while.

Haven't been playing too much lately, Killzone & Assasins Creed has been dominating my gaming hours recently. May come back to it again a little down the road.

Well died shortly after getting all the gears, forgot to pause when phone rang :)

But tested the theory again, this time on day 3.  Went into a cave, feed some gold to Clippy, my new rock lobster buddy, who followed me to the surface.  Walked a few screens north, low and behold a pig village right next to the clockwork area.   I had some monster meat from some bats, so feed that to 3 pigs, and went into the clockwork area with Clippy n the Pigs.        Clippy spent most of the fight in some type of defense mode, but the clockwork rook caused treeguard to spawn again, and the fight was on.

Clippy and I worked away untouched with a ton of marble and gears on day 4.

You've got F12 for screenshots (if you're on Steam - you could probably go shift-Prt Scr elsewhere - they've had a built in screenshot function for a looooooong time!), just no vids :P.

Here's a pic of the map layout.  Day 1 I went into the caves at night for a suss and befriended Clippy.

Next day found the Pig village, now in ruins due to Clockwork Rook and me ;)  and the clockwork area.   Clippy
and I killed spiders on the night of day 2, got some monster meat to befriend the pigs, then went to war.

Some of the spoils still there, though now day 8.  Got quite a few spare gears and enuf marble for some good amour :)

Also now have a ice box, 2 x crockpot, 2 x drying rack down in Clippy's cave on day 11 :)   One moves very slow in marble armour ;)

Nice work Jykel, you'll be all set for the first winter! Marble armour isn't all that great, it slows you down too much. I prefer log armour, it's not as strong, but you're still able to kite enemies easily.

It may not have had a huge number of entrants, but I've got a funny feeling that still wouldn't have changed the result ;).  Congrats to Eco for his monumental survival effort, lasting more than a year in the dangerous climes of Don't Starve, and still going B).
