Nice Doc B).  Definitely some very pleasing visuals in the ME series :D.

Here's a sunset in Chicago from Watch Dogs:

It's not the prettiest game in the world, but the way it all comes together is very impressive.

On the other hand, WARRRR THUNDERRR is awesome B).  Here's a shot of AroGantz and LaraJade flying into battle (well, we were actually flying in to land, which we weren't terribly successful at, but it was good fun :))

Quick snap of L4D2 session with Live. I'm healing myself cause I get injured alot. I have my Gerber BearGrylls Machette and TitanFall SMG and the skins are some VOCALOIDs or something to bring colour into the game and make it less scary.

Also Dl'd Resident Evil 6 and Borderlands skins for the L4D2 survivors.

Happy snaps from Mordor :).

The photo mode is very well fleshed out, all the way down to being able to have 'texture' filters (as well as borders, colour filters, depth of field and even a game logo if you want) to work with.

That Talion's a bit of a poser....

Whenever you fight one of the captains, they give you a quick close up, really helps build character, one of the things that makes a game that has no qualms borrowing ideas from other games stand out :).

I'm enjoying it a lot still, about 7-8 hours in.  Took another couple of happy snaps today :).  The bloke you see below is Hura the Brander - one of the missions you can get is to kill a captain that killed someone on your PSN friends' list - Hura knocked over Supa-Dav3, so I returned the favour to Hura.

This is just a regular 'ole Uruk, in a very immediately post-battle moment :).  This one seems to come up a bit better if you click on it rather than view it in the post.

Aye, I guess Mordor just ain't that pretty, and this was at night in the rain.  I definitely hope we see another Middle-earth game from Monolith with this engine or something like it, it's got a tonne of potential.

I promise not to go too crazy on this thread (although I won't promise there won't be a few more Shadow of Mordor pics), but I was checking I was good for the KZ night this evening, and had a quick stroll through the Academy, and couldn't help but take some pics for old times' sake B).

Class is out at Radec Academy's theatre....

The Academy courtyard, so many memories :D.

Because we haven't had any Mordor shots in days!  Will probably not post up many more, as don't want to post any spoilers for later in the game though.

Camping, Mordor-style.

And thus ended Brogg the War-Bringer

Finished off the first of six cases in Frogwares' so-far-excellent Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments yesterday.  The game's visuals are a decent step up from their last game, and create an excellent Victorian London atmosphere.  Here's going into Scotland Yard to question a suspect.

Having a play with DriveClub's new photo mode (pre-weather, I'll have a play with that in the next day or two).

Anyone want to lend me their car? ;)

The photo mode benefits from the game layering on an extra level of anti-aliasing (as far as I can tell), so the screenshots look really nice.  The game itself is as pretty as the screenshots, but has some aliasing (particularly in the cockpit view of certain car models, I'm not sure exactly what does it, but particular materials or angles or something seem to set it off).  It's a very nice looking game though :).
