Yeah Harvs, this one was a huge let down for us ME3 fans.   It promised 'infinity replay-ability' and really didnt deliver.  Lack characters, customisations, powers, weapon types, enemies, the list goes on.

They have a good engine, but like ID Soft and Rage, a good engine only gets you so far, you still need to produce a quality game.

Weak story line, well especially in comparison to recent games like BL2, UC3, tLoU, etc.   Probably one of the most disappointing purchases this gen for me.

Harvs, we should do an ME3 night for some old time laffs

How does one set up a custom game in LoU?

use Private Match in the lobby, not Find Games.    If we get 6 of us on one night, we should have a go :)    Only option we have in there is game mode and map, but they are giving us more options with the next DLC, so we might be able to run shiv only games n stuff

Finished a normal story play-through last night. Took around 9 hours and for the most part I enjoyed it only the bits where you had to transport the Fuse canisters were annoying cause of the A.I., 2 of my 3 restarts where in those areas.

Played as Izzy figured if I attempt anything harder I'd make more of a difference as Dalton or Naya, A.I. seems competent with Jacob.
      • I agree that the A.I. isn't that great , it was annoying at times, Dalton definitely needs human control to unlock his full potential.
      • Shooting and battlefield movement, felt they nailed both of those, running around and hopping over and around was simple and easy.
      • I didn't mind the lack of weapons since I pretty much stuck with the Guardian and the burst rifle throughout.
      • I felt the stealth and platforming bits were just added to break things up and never expanded on and didn't feel fully realised as such.
      • I liked the CQC, simple to use, effective and it was so good when enemies get too close.
Overall it feels like a good game but lacks those things that makes it stand out or really grab an audience and take it to great levels.

I paid $5.39 for it and I got that amount in fun just out of that 1 play-through. Will get more playtime out of it but at $70 I would've been a little disappointed in it.

Yeah, since I mainly play solo the A.I. isn't up to task and I would've felt let down and disappointed with the money it would've cost, so I am glad I was unable to get any games around that time.

I've been attempting Echelon mode with the A.I. and for the most part it just doesn't go well. I generally get past wave 6 but after that the A.I. just starts to become a burden and I can't be everyone at once.

Protecting the canister is generally my undoing I go as Dalton since the A.I. likes to use his shield beyond the canister but then I loose out any range of attack and damage output that the A.I. just doesn't make up for as I would.

I hate the Weapon drops they are so stupid half the time the unlock doesn't wont trigger even though I'm holding triangle it just keeps resetting and then by that time my cloak runs out and I'm dead along with the box. It doesn't help that they like to spawn the enemy right on top of it so they are there destroying it before you can even reach it.

Highest I made was wave 11, the A.I. just isn't cut out once you reach wave 7.

I kinda feel like its a bit like Assassin's Creed the first game it had its moments but it was missing things. It managed to set good ground work for the second which nailed it.

Fuse is the same for me as there are moments when its been fun and exciting but just has a bunch of negatives that bring it down. Will never see a sequel but I think they would've fixed the issues with 1 in it.

Got the hang of solo Echelon Mode now, managed to complete 5 of the 6 maps 4 of which with 5 stars after starting to get the hang of the characters.

There are still a few mishaps and early exits thanks to the A.I. but for the most part it has improved.

I can easily see the lack of longevity once you can nail the maps now, since its the same enemy each time and same strategies.
Plus there's not much to work for at all, perks which make some difference but I finished the maps with 2 slots taken by credit and exp bonus so they are required and skins.
Mass Effects store with its randomness provided that thing to work towards only to be crushed by it. Mass Effects Universe is just perfect for providing a wide variety of things where as Fuse's doesn't.

Still I'm glad I played it, the first story play through was fun and exciting and that first time I finished Wave 12 was exhilarating shame it couldn't keep it going.
