Happened to me once. Destiny hard crashed the console and it booted up to the screen. Put the update on a USB and it worked fine. Have a new PS4 now though, so not too worried.

Well I've joined the PS4 club now. Went to Costco for groceries, we came out with a PS4 lol! Had quite a lot of Chrissy money from generous people this year and it was a seriously great deal, just under 500 with 3 games, all ones we're interested in. The Last of Us remaster, Drive Club and LBP3. Pretty much perfect for my partner and me. Got a white console and a 2nd red controller, just 68 for the controller which was nice in itself.

Great to have so many games already between plus and vita crossbuy purchases, nice change for a new system too. Haven't played many games yet but so far I love the interface and just how smooth everything is. I especially like being able to use headphones with the controller just for sound. Seems like it's actually going to be easier to play together locally too. I miss that kinda gaming.

Nice one Smokey .  If you don't already have a club in DC, let me know - Eco, Moto and m'self (as well as a couple of others who don't frequent these parts) are in the SPT Hippies, and you'd be welcome to join us .  Am glad you're enjoying it, I'm a huge fan of it m'self - it's been missing out the last couple of weeks a bit because of Civ: Beyond Earth, but it's easily my favourite gaming system about the traps at the moment.  Have played a few of the couch-coop friendly games too, if you want any recommendations, just say the word .

Damn straight GC - Wild looks really good, and it's got a top team behind it, so hopefully it'll pull the ambitious design together into something that'll work.

I'm not sure exactly, from memory:

• It's one big, connected world, apparently something like as big as Europe.
  
• You can play as any animal (including humans) in the game.
  
• There was some hunting shown, so presumably that plays a part.

And that's all I know .  I just like the idea of playing any animal in the game, and exploring away.  Am sure they'll have something to do while exploring, would be a pretty big undertaking to give no structure/goal to at all.

Definitely looks very interesting... gave me the impression that it's a hunting game but sounds even more interesting if it's what you're saying (playing as any animal). The trailer was enough to put it on my radar, must have completely missed it before.

Been having lots of fun with the new baby. Finding out all the little things like hitting the ps button twice returns you to games or what you were last looking at out of it etc. I'm thinking I will get Phantom Pain on PS4 at least initially, even with getting a ps4 controller to run on my pc I'll still miss out on all the cool stuff like controller audio etc.

Random but whatever happened to the suspend game feature that was talked about at launch? I haven't really been following the updates or anything for the system so I just assumed it would be there already, has Sony said what's been happening with it or have they been their usual no need to actually give out details self.
