That's just silly!  Hell, plenty of people adopt African American tropes of talking (as plenty of African Americans adopt other tropes themselves).  Just because there are some similarities in expression don't make it racist.  Sure, if she was putting down African Americans it'd be a whole 'nother story, but this is just insane.  People gotta breath more clean air!

I've seen plenty of other instances of white people using black slang for comedic effect and no one complains.

In this instance it doesn't seem as though the intent is to demean anyone.

Exactly. One or two people are 'offended', therefore no one can watch/play it.

For those always going on about level cap increasing, here's some info

http://www.examiner....ssed-by-gearbox

Quote

  • We know some customers are looking forward to a cap increase. It's difficult and expensive to do right... Stay tuned.
  • It's a tricky problem that creates massive implications. We have lots of awesome people working hard on the game still, though.
  • Some discoveries in test require huge, potentially game changing balance changes because of skill tree issues.

Indeed, the way i have my Mechro skilled out, she'll be pretty much indestructable if they raise it by 10 or more haha.

Thought I'd put up the hotfixes here to make them easier to find:

Gearbox Software has announced some Hot Fixes that they're applying to Borderlands 2. The first round of new Hot Fixes have been implemented to fix some details and abilities in a couple of Class Mods and to address some slight issues and updates to the Mr Torgue's Campaign of Courage DLC.

Quote

Today we're rolling out a series of hot fixes for Borderlands 2 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3!

Borderlands 2 Hot Fixes (First Batch)
January 29, 2013
  • Adjusted Mechromancer’s Sweetheart class mod to correctly increase team health.
  • Assassin’s “Slayer of Terramorphous” class mod no longer includes Gunzerker skill bonus.
  • Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Critical hits against Midgets now register properly.
  • Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Rat Thief enemies are no longer allowed in Pete’s Bar due to patron concerns regarding excessive theft.
  • Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Torgue vending machines can now stock up to level 50 legendary weapons.

Another round of Borderlands 2 hot fixes are now rolling out on PC / Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Quote

Borderlands 2 Hot Fixes (Second Batch)
February 5, 2013
  • Commando's Rifleman, Gunner and Shock Trooper class mods now correctly increase kill skill bonuses
  • Increased Shock Spike shield damage by addressing issue where it was not being calculated properly.
  • Clients are now able to see explosions caused by Norfleets in multiplayer.
  • Thermitage (Sir Hammerlock DLC) is now friendlier and will no longer refuse to come play with some players.
A hot fix is automatically applied at the "Press Start" screen when Borderlands 2 is connected to the internet. In general, hot fixes are used to temporarily address issues between major updates. Hot fixes are not permanent -- they are temporarily stored in memory during the game session and lost upon exiting Borderlands 2.

To ensure that you receive hot fixes, make sure that your system is connected to the internet when Borderlands 2 boots up. A hot fix differs from an update in that an update contains changes that are permanently stored on your system and only needs to be downloaded once.

For the latest on hot fixes and updates to Borderlands 2, keep an eye on the respective Knowledge Base article for your platform: PC,Xbox 360, PlayStation 3.

I am guessing they will find a few more issues in testing a raised level cap.

Yeah probably, they have three more hotfixes planned I think. I don't really mind if the raised level cap comes a little later on now because there'll be a few games to play in the meantime, like Ni No Kuni and Aliens :D.

"We, as customers and gamers ourselves, hear the fans," says Gearbox president Randy Pitchford. "People want to level up more. It makes sense. We totally get it. We did it in Borderlands 1, so we have the precedent. And we're gonna break our fucking game if we change the math."

As Pitchford explains it, the team at Gearbox was very conscious of exactly what combinations of skills were possible with a level cap of 50. The way the skill system is implemented, players would be overwhelmingly powerful if they had the added flexibility of a few more points. Not only would it disrupt the game's balance, it would run the risk of exceeding the capabilities of the game itself. "We knew the impossible configurations. Some of the design exploits that. Some of the impossible configurations, if they were possible, would break the game. Sometimes very literally. 'Oh, that's gonna blow memory. Your Xbox will crash.'"

There are a handful of other challenges that exacerbate the problem of post-level 50 content. If the skills could be balanced, players will still need higher level enemies to avoid turning the game into a cakewalk. Worse still, enemies that are balanced against overpowered post-50 skill combinations would turn around and crush players with less optimized skills. This is to say nothing of the expectations of new max-level items, which present another slew of balance issues.

"It's easy to imagine," says Pitchford, "when we're playing the game, 'We could just change the number, and everything would be fine.' No, dude, there's a lot... This is the most fundamental thing about the game. It's a big deal."

So looks like you guys won't be getting a level cap rise. Maybe Bl3 will be higher
