Haha - was a great hour or so of KZ2, and then the PSN was down with maintenance!  Well played gents - Jyks was his effervescent self, Spectre was tearing it up with that handgun, Gixxer couldn't get enough of the rocket launcher, Straussy was on fiiirrreeee, Harvs got right into it and Batty persevered with the lag .  Top games lads .

Didn't manage to get 1 Pistol ribbon though .

Changed to Tactician in Blood Gracht and was so happy when my Air Bot managed to win the assassination and kill 4 guys in the short time in was on. Then it died, it was fun for the hour it lasted though.

Well KZ2 servers werent in maintenance mode, but they probably need to be.   Many connection issues for some, so it took a while to get everyone in a lobby.

The lobby held for almost 2 games, but by the 3rd on BC, it all went to lag hell.   The 1st two games were good and close, with me an axe busy trying to answer messages during capture n hold from those having connection issues.

Happy to try again next week, but if the servers are still that woeful,  Birds of Steel anyone ?

Hehehehe - BIRDS OF STEEL!  If we got 8 of us on, you could do great 4v4s, and there's limited respawn options as well, which really up the ante.  Anyways, I digress - how about we have another go next Tuesday, and see how the servers hold up then?  If they're still shoddy, we could make Tuesdays an Aliens night for a little while?

If the custom games allow joining mid-session, then we can start them whenever (earlier starts are a bit easier on the Kiwis), but if we all have to be in the lobby pre-launching, then will have more of a think about it.  Needless to say, will give the MP/Coop a good gander on the weekend after launch and see what it'll let us do .

Oh i'll be cooping the FC#K out of it lol. Would think you can join midway through game (might vary with modes like escape). Just sucks for me since unless i want play while i eat, i tend to jump on when most people call it quits >.<
Unless it becomes wednesday nights haha, quick easy dinner that night

I reckon this needs its own thread - no reason we can't make a play for Aliens on Wednesday .  It won't matter for the first couple of weeks while everyone plays it to death, but having a regular slot might keep it in the rotation for a bit longer .

Axe my darling, could you be as kind as to add Engy1983. You see, i met him playing Zombies back in World at war. We formed a very tight friendship and he's been my bitch for oh so many years now.

One day, an oh so awesome game called Killzone 2 *Insert cheering here* came between us and while i fought to defend Helghan from the ISA scum, he stayed in the past to defeat the Japs and Nazi's.

And now, he's going for Kz2's Plat trophy since i helped him get the hard MP trophies and well, how can i put this delicately... The FC#Kwit has acquired a taste for the MP *Facepalm*.

So I'm sure he'll be as keen as a bean to join you next tuesday if you run the RTH, though i fear we'll all be playing Colonial Marines that night
